Nice little spot to grab a beer and they have a decent selection of different beers on tap. Didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that.

While it's sad when a local institution like Woodward Garderns closes its doors after 22 years, it's cool to see a fresh new pub spring up and revitalize this otherwise desolate stretch of the Mission. Grabbed lunch here this past week with a friend and we both enjoyed our meals. He had the fish and chips and said they were solid, recommended if you like that dish. I went with their pastrami sandwich. It was solid as well, though would have liked the pastrami to be grilled or warm; it was served cold on rye. Only real drawback during our meal was that we sat opposite the kitchen and the large party in the next room had apparently ordered everything with bacon added in, so we went home smelling like bacon grease! Not that bad actually.. Their beer selection is tremendous, with some unique options and priced way better than the bastion of pretension that is the Kettle a few blocks away. Recommend checking it out, service was nice and friendly too. Dec 2015.

Omg. I’m so kissed off I haven’t been coming here. Awesome beer list-all perfectly served. Staff is super friendly-even to us older middle -aged ladies. Our well-behaved dogs were welcome. And omg. The fish & chips are a classic UK version and the bomb. Chicken wings super yummy. Can’t wait to make this place a regular stop.

Pretty tasty food with a twist! Nice ambience as well. The chicken liver toast was a little too sweet and smelt a bit raw. But the fish/chips and chicken burger were delicious.

Excellent selection of beers and really helpful pointers from the team. Food looked great too but we were only in to try a few drinks.

August 2023: Stopped by for dinner and enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the beyond burger. Beer list is really fantastic 🤩. Had a nice hazy IPA from armistice. Will definitely come back again for more delicious food and da brewskis! 2020: Came here for the Moonraker SF 🍻 Fest! Service was great. Many options to choose from. Would come here again.

Wonderful food and incredible beer selection! They put a little extra effort into the food. The fish tacos are really really good. This place leans toward being a gastropub. Staff creates a great communal vibe that wherever you're from makes you feel like a local.

This is a small cozy place at the corner of busy streets under the highway. Great noon-pretentious vibe. The food (I had the octopus with shishito peppers) was really tasty, and of course the beer menu on tap is very extensive. The staff (both behind the bar and for serving food) are extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming/friendly. Highly recommended!
