Great Greek food, though I will say, it seemed a bit averagely cooked if that is a word. The apatizers were good, but not outstanding. The chicken was a little dry, but the steak we juicy and flavorful. The service was superb and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The deserts were good, I am now a fan of baklava. Though I will say, whatever you do, do not eat the candy they give while you exit. I’m not sure who but them but they are like licorice and cinnamon or something. They were not pleasant or good, if you are reading this, just switch to like mints or something, you don’t have to be special. Overall, amazing experience, it’s just a few small parts that just were not superb and over the top.

Nice experience, but not spectacular. I had grilled: octopus, calamari, and lamb riblets. I also had roasted prawns. I liked all, but prawns were the best in my opinion. My expectations were high as the reviews were so good. The problem is the innovating the tastes. Ingredients are fresh, but cooking and flavors didn't blew my mind.

Generous portions and amazing food. We got a special that was not on the menu: a Goose dish that was delicious. Service is top notch and food comes fast.

Simply put, great Greek food. Mr recommendation is to go simple. Lamb Chops, Pitas, and a $80 bottle of Greek red wine. You will walk out happy and not breaking the bank.

They offer an authentic Greek dining experience that delights the senses. The warm ambiance, attentive service, and a menu featuring flavorful dishes like grilled lamb chops and moussaka make it a standout choice. The rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere, paired with an impressive selection of Greek wines, creates a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Recommend!

Great place with super great food! I mean we had some salad with fresh apricots and cheese and I kept thinking how can apricots taste this good! They had a whole lamb cooking on their fireplace too, it was both awesome to look at and delicious! Service was great too and people were super nice and helpful! Other than the food the bathroom was pretty cool experience 🤣 You will be served bread , salt and olive oil before orders arrive. Also there’s a ton of off the menu fun daily! Cleanness: very clean Food: great Price: rather expensive Service: great Parking: well SF for u! Menu diversity: not too diverse but many options to choose from Lighting: on the darker side Noise: rather noisy from people talking, does have private dining rooms Seating: table, booth

By far our favorite restaurant in the city! Our first time trying lunch (and I’m glad we got a very spacious seat!) other than our usual, the octopus salad is my favorite now, refreshing and perfect seasoning. And always a treat when you order the Kataifi + Greek coffee as the perfect combo ending of the meal.

Review: Kokkari Estiatorio in San Francisco, CA I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kokkari Estiatorio in San Francisco, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This restaurant exceeded all expectations, offering exceptional food, a delightful atmosphere, and impeccable service. Let's start with the food, which was nothing short of excellent. Kokkari Estiatorio specializes in Greek cuisine, and they truly showcase the rich flavors and culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. From the moment we took our first bite, we knew we were in for a treat. The menu boasted a wide array of dishes, ranging from traditional Greek classics to inventive creations with a modern twist. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with incredible flavors. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and it was clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft. What truly enhanced our dining experience was the welcoming and inviting atmosphere of Kokkari Estiatorio. The restaurant exudes a warm and charming ambiance, with its rustic decor, soft lighting, and tasteful Greek-inspired accents. The spacious layout ensured that each table had enough privacy, while still feeling part of the vibrant atmosphere. The attention to detail was impressive, as every aspect of the restaurant's design contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the service, which was exceptional. Our waiter, Caleigh, deserves special mention for his remarkable knowledge and passion for the food. He guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations and explaining the nuances of each dish. His expertise helped us make informed choices, and we were thoroughly impressed by his dedication to ensuring our dining experience was unforgettable. The rest of the staff was equally attentive and friendly, creating a warm and hospitable environment that made us feel like valued guests. Overall, our experience at Kokkari Estiatorio was truly memorable. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was delightful, and the service was top-notch. Whether you're a fan of Greek cuisine or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Kokkari Estiatorio. Prepare to be impressed by the culinary artistry, the inviting ambiance, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Kokkari Estiatorio is a gem in the heart of San Francisco, and I can't wait to visit again.

The food was generally good. Although I wasn’t a fan of whatever seasoning they used on the fish, while the fish itself was fresh I would advise asking for it but without seasoning. Also I thought it was strange that one bartender had given me a different Bordeaux after I didn’t like the Chateu Greysac for not being full bodied enough. And I like the new Bordeaux, and had a glass. But then the next visit when I tell a different bartender that I liked a different Bordeaux that the other guy found, and he is asked he said it was the Chateau Greysac when it was not. It might of been unintentional or I don’t know but I just found it strange.
