I’ve been coming here throughout my childhood and finally got to return here to visit once again. This spot has been opened since I was in high school and I’m glad it’s still around, as it is very nostalgic to me. I ordered my usual, mixed fruit crepe (kiwi, strawberry, and bananas) with a scoop of ice cream and Nutella — it’s around $15 now which isn’t cheap but still worth it for the memories. They allow you to order through your phone so you don’t have to lineup, and they send a text when your order is ready. It gets fairly crowded here and still has a line, so the virtual ordering helps a lot.
Tasty crepes with fresh fruit. Just that the worker there didn’t ware gloves but use their bare hands. ☹️
Stopped for dessert after Ramen dinner. We got banana and ice cream crepe. It was good. The crepe could have been softer. There was no seating available in the crepe place. We needed a table to put the food on and cut and properly be able to eat. We had the ice cream dripping and making a mess. Otherwise, crepe was good not great.
I think this place benefits from being close to popular Ramen places.
Always ordered the green tea gelato in a crepe. One of the best gelato places I’ve tried in SF. The green tea gelato is creamy and rich in flavor. Crepes are also crispy, which I personally like.
Got the Crepe with Ice Cream, pretty standard crepe, no complaints.
In the Heart of Japan Town where all the restaurants are. Always busy treat after dining in one of the Japanese restaurants. See pics straw Berry + Nutella was nice. Others had the same but added bananas. Also ordered Matcha with red bean. The ice cream was nice and thick and the beans was a nice contrast in texture and sweetness . While the Japan town sundae was okay too. Fun to watch with quick turnaround . As always post wherever your palate takes you…
I ordered a single scoop of black sesame ice cream
Pros:
The ice cream was super thick and creamy. Satisfying
Black sesame flavor was there
There really isn’t much for me to say for ice cream
Neutral:
Worker was ok
Cons:
Ice cream cup sizes only come in large and small
Only one scoop for small and 2 for large
Would have liked to try/sample some of the other flavors, but didn’t want to eat too much ice cream
One of several shops offering crepes in the Japan Center. I tried #18: Japanese Special with whipped cream. It includes red bean paste, green tea ice cream, matcha sauce and whipped cream. It all comes in a crepe folded into a cone shape. Very tasty.
Crepe is crispy, love it with nutalla and their gelato ice cream.
I skipped the fruits this time, cause we can eating dinner next ( half a banana or some slices of strawberries caused $2 each).
They don't allow pictures or video.
Average $6-8 per crepe. Pricy.
Not a bad crepe place. It was definitely quite busy when we went and had a long wait time, however when we got the crepes, they were pretty decent. Good amount of stuffing and good taste.
However first few bites were the best because that's where everything was, but once you got down to the bottom, there was no more ice cream, and it was mostly whip cream, and maybe maybe a chunk of strawberry if you got lucky.
Crepes average about $10 at the time writing.
