We bought our tickets online, the staff was super helpful. This museum has so much history of Walt Disney, I think it's amazing for any Disney or filmmaking fans to visit.

This is one of my favorite stops in northern california. If you are a lover of drawing, animation and disney, this is a must visit for you. I have generally been wowed by the special exhibits which are usually themed and go i to the depth of character and background design. The latest cats and dogs exhibit is a huge let down in that sense. There are only copies of art and most of them are not labelled properly. The credits and labels are hanging off an a4 sheet of paper in very small print and rotated 90 degree making it very difficult to appreciate the artists behind the work. The pet portrait exhibit is free and has some uninspiring artwork, and the poster room to the side feels like a filler with no substance. The permanent exhibit is of walts life and vision and is a great peek into the early stages of animation and the atudio and a must see for the first time. The cafe is over priced and so is the gift store, as expected. The cafe usually runs put of food quickly. Would suggest packing snacks from home and enjoying it on the beautiful green park in front of the museum. Across the street from the special exhibit u can see stunning views of golden gate bridge. Overall, You will leave this place with something that puts a smile in your heart. Make it a nice picnic day with friends or family. I still gave this place 5 stars because of my previous experiences.

This is one of my favorite non-park-related Disney spaces. Sharing Walt's story and journey has a special place in my heart. We love special events, talks, and anything where we meet the great talents behind the Disney Company name.

What a fantastic, unknown Disney gem! This is a must-see if you are a Disney fan. We decided to purchase a museum membership since there is so much to see there.

I love Disney, so this museum was a must during my visit to San Francisco. I only had two hours to spend here, but it was worth it. I could have easily spent another hour soaking it all in. I loved reading about Walts life and seeing original drawings, awards, and photos. I think kids would be easily bored here unless they are older and enjoy museums.

This was an amazing experience. If you like Disney films, this is a must do! The history of Walt is amazing and seeing the earliest known drawing of Mickey Mouse was exciting. The tour is self paced and the museum is larger than it looks. Kid friendly experience, just be careful that they don’t touch what they shouldn’t.

Be warned.... this is NOT a Disney movie museum. This museum is about the life and achievements of Walt Disney. The movies you'll see displayed were made during and shortly after his death. You'll be in here for 3 hrs+ reading and looking at historical items. Plan accordingly. Nice environment, the cleanest public restrooms I've ever been in 👌🏽

Quite the interesting museum to visit with some really great history in Disney's rise from an average man to what he became. Many inspiring sections of commentary alongside some beautiful pieces of history make this a super visit for the whole family. It is a very well designed museum with intent to display things well alongside the many types of artifacts. Be sure to fit this in.

I was totally impressed by visiting this place. I didn’t know about Walt Disney live story until now. It is perfect museum to visit with kids. I thought it will take me one hour to check everything, but I stocked there for couples of hours. So interesting and detailed. Inside you can make photos and videos, but without flash light. I got student discount and they have senior discount as well. Totally recommend to check!
