Great place to have a healthy lunch or dinner or to pick up specialty groceries - it has a Whole Foods vibe. They have several food hall style options (poke, Italian, Filipino etc) as well as a salad bar, hot food bar, and they serve alcohol. Great place to meet up with friends for dinner and a drink before heading out to a show (it’s close to the theater district/opera/ballet etc).

Local-feeling market loved by those living in the area as a niche-food and restaurant location. Lots of small eateries inside, security that is roaming around creating a much safer-feeling atmosphere than directly outside, neighboring Twitter, hotels, and theaters. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat before going to Orpheum Theater or exploring market street. Note that the pizza location is closed until later in February... but the Korean place turned out to be really good as well!

Great place to link up with friends for a great variety of bites and drinks. If you’re like me, love food way too much, and want to try everything, this can be tough. I ended up trying the pizza, gelato and dessert and it was all fantastic. Pizza by the slice is a great value considering how massive the slice is. If you’re a meat lover, go for the Sicilian Fratellanza. You won’t regret it!

Great place to have lunch. As a tourist I didn't know what to order. I saw several people with a big bowl and decided to order it aswel. The taco bowl is amazing. The market itself is great. Easily accessible.

Market on Market! This collection of shops and restaurants has anything you could ever want, including fantastic coffee, snacks, and meals. I'm a particular fan of the pizza restaurant which serves huge slices of pizza for surprisingly reasonable prices compared to the average price of food in this expensive city. It also feels very safe inside.

Nice market with food places inside. Ideal for young professionals in the area. At the time we visited the coffee shop had shuttered (since Tweeter staff will not come back to the offices upstairs). Didn't see bathroom for customers (a sign said they had no bathroom) so we had to go to the hotel right after. One thing we noticed missing from other reviews was sitting areas (they do have tables and sitting inside the market in several areas)

On the pricey side for groceries, but considering where it's located, that shouldn't come as a surprise. Generally clean and well stocked with basics. Just don't come here looking for more exotic ingredients. Nice to have all the food vendors in one spot, though some are better than others (hint: avoid tacos). Update: stumbled in on Taco Tuesday for $2 tacos from 2P.M. to 5P.M. No, the uninspiring tacos prepared on cold tortillas are still definitely not worth it.

Love this place. Its like Whole Foods but cooler and with plenty of different kinds of options on the back, like Sea Food, Mexican Style, Italian Pizza, Açai Bowls and Protein Juices, PokeBar, and there's a Bar too! You will find lots of young people and locals eating there. Specially those ones who works on Twitter. Its actually really great for tourists because there's a great quality of food and its not really expensive! So skip junky food and eat here at the market! Also, there is a caffe store right by the left of the entrance. Really good coffee, bagels and awesome granola & yogurt bowls. Love The Market!

Prices are high, that’s the only point against this otherwise yuppie heaven spot. Quality but pricey offerings for staples like olive oil and western produce. Not many ethnic goods. The $11 range pre-made lunches are a better deal than the hot bar. Impressive and tasty range of hot bar foods though!

The team here has done a wonderful job keeping stock of most of the items in the store during the shelter in place. The produce is very high quality, and the variety of the shelf items is great but not over the top, just the right amount of specialty. The vendor options for take away are varied and of good quality. Lines move quickly. Prices are a little high, but what do you expect in this location? Thanks for keeping the neighborhood well stocked!
