We got a table outside. We got there about five minutes before opening so we didn’t have to wait at all. When we were leaving there were is a very long line and wait list I recommend you go early if you don’t want to wait. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious I recommend the salmon cakes ..!

No lines on a weekday. Just finished my blood labwork 5 months ago and this was nearby, so tried this new breakfast place because of Yelp reviews. Banana souffle pancakes and seafood benedict (shrimp and crab)... hash browns was the best I've tried and I don't like hash browns. These souffle pancakes are just like the ones at Aloha Kitchen in Hawaii... finally found a place locally that serves souffle pancakes. My wife and I give Griddle Fresh a 2 thumbs up. Go on a weekday as the weekends are up to a 2hr wait. We've been back at least 5 times in the last 5 months.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: A very good brunch option Would I come back: Yes! It’s one of my go tos. The extended review… Food: PBs Fried Chicken French Toast - 4/5 - Holy Cow. The fact that there is a knife through the middle says enough about the portion of the dish. Loved the portion size and the flavor of everything. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance: 4/5 - It’s a little cramped inside which is why there usually is a line.

I like this place, food tastes really good, specially pancakes of course. Sometimes staff is a little bit in a hurry but they are friendly. There is always a line on the weekends but it goes fast.

Noe Valley institution. Service can be very fast, but it’s to your benefit to get seated quicker. The Fried Chicken French Toast with Challah is outstanding.

The PB's plate was delicious -- the banana mascarpone pancakes were definitely the highlight. Would recommend coming earlier in the mornings since it gets busy but worth the 15-20 min wait!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pancake Boy, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff immediately made me feel welcome. However, it was the lemon ricotta pancakes and homemade pork sausage that truly stole the show. Let's start with the lemon ricotta pancakes. As soon as the plate was placed in front of me, I was captivated by their fluffy and golden appearance. The aroma of fresh lemon zest wafted through the air, instantly making my mouth water. With the first bite, I was transported to pancake heaven. The pancakes were incredibly light and airy, with just the right amount of tanginess from the ricotta and zing from the lemon. The combination was simply divine. Each bite was a burst of citrusy goodness, perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the maple syrup drizzled on top. It was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. Now, let's talk about the homemade pork sausage. I am a self-proclaimed sausage enthusiast, and Pancake Boy's version did not disappoint. The sausage was juicy, flavorful, and had a perfect balance of spices. It was evident that the sausage was made in-house, as the quality and taste were far superior to any store-bought variety. The meat was tender and succulent, with a hint of smokiness that added an extra layer of depth to each bite. Paired with the pancakes, it created a harmonious combination that left me in breakfast bliss. Aside from the exceptional food, the service at Pancake Boy was top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their menu. They were more than happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Pancake Boy is a hidden gem that should not be missed. Their lemon ricotta pancakes and homemade pork sausage are a match made in breakfast heaven. Whether you're a pancake lover or a sausage aficionado, this restaurant will undoubtedly satisfy your cravings. I cannot wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings.

Seating was fast since we beat the morning rush. The food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for breakfast. The French toast was amazing! If you are in the area and want an esthetic breakfast this is a great place for it!

Good breakfast spot. First time here. Food was very good and filling. I had shrimp and andouille sausage grits w/2 over medium eggs. Sis had the same. Nephew had the breakfast sandwich with a pork sausage patty & roasted potatoes. He said it was excellent. We all shared the banana mascarpone w/vanilla curd, candied walnuts, banana, and sweet cream. Note, this pancake is a souffle style. It was 👍👍 delicious! Will go back for sure to try the French toast and chicken & waffle. This is a small place and usually a wait (line outside). Definitely try this place!

Consistently amazing food and attentive service. The menu is full of great choices and their location is in the heart of Noe Valley. My only critique is how loud it is. Hopefully when budget allows they can hang a couple acoustic tiles to dampen the noise.

Pancakes were so fluffy! We got there at 11 and tables moved somewhat quickly but still had to wait a bit. Amazing portion sizes and everything was super tasty. Endless coffee refills which is nice.

You need to order their lemon ricotta pancakes! They're tasty, light, and fluffy. I also tried the seaboard Benedict, which was delicious. I like how they make their hashbrowns. Then, I tried the Tex Mex scramble and I would order that again. Great breakfast. Small place inside and only two outdoor table sitting.
