These guys are great. Very clean fresh food. Great service staff. The Angus beef pasta is addictive and the funky monkey creap will slay you. Servings are large and reasonable prices for haight street. One of the very few reliable consistent establishment on haight. The espresso is done correctly.
They do take away as well and it's done with care.
Fills up quickly with customers during lunch.
Bathroom is kept clean.
Kitchen is in full view and staff are professional.
Great for small meetings.
Eat there at least 2 x a week.
Management is very freindly and nice.
I really appreciate the care they put into the place.
The eggs Florentine with rosemary potatoes and salad is one of my all time favorite meals. My kid tried the French onion soup and loved it and their coffee is the best cup of coffee I have ever had. The water is even great. I love this place.
This is a great place for brunch in the Haight neighborhood, you’ll have crepes, sandwiches, burgers pancakes. I love their blueberries pancakes, their plates could be for sharing because they serve big portions. Plenty of space, and also they have a back patio.
Such amazing food! The potatoes!!!
Had a very tasty lunch/dinner on a Wednesday. The chicken pesto crepe was so flavorful AND THE POTATOES!!! Rosemary seasoning, perfect crispiness, oh my. The potatoes were everything.
I went a few days ago for Sunday brunch, and found this place is quite popular in the neighborhood, this place has a lot of space for big family gatherings. The food menu is catchy
I had the crab cake egg Benedict, I really like the eggs, the crab cake is fair. But the food presentation is really good. My friend has a Thai chicken salad, it’s really good taste, ❤️adding the thin noddles in the salad and the salad dressing is wonderful.
Will definitely return to try something else
Amazing food with great service, and beautiful restaurant. I recommend the hash, and stuffed french toast !
Just happen to be around while waiting for a shop to open. Nice kick back spot for all the good breakfast specialties plus more. Quick and fulfilling.
I could marry 1428 HAIGHT’s stuffed French toast. When I tell you I immediately think of this dish when Sunday morning rolls around, I’m not joking. We sat on the back patio and when our food was brought out, I knew I made the right decision. Now, I’ve tried some other French toast along Haight and nothing compares. Don’t waste your time on other brunch spots if you have a sweet tooth like me.
Eggs for the Benedict were over cooked, but the potatoes are the best part, perfect texture and flavor
great place similar
to crepevine on haight street. The service was really friendly! We got the thai chicken salad, berry crepe, and pesto crepe, and all were an 8/10. I loved the peanuts in the salad. The back patio area also looked super cute. They had clean restrooms. Very quick service
Went to the neighborhood to see the Grateful Dead house. Noticed a sign for Bloody Marys here. Sounded good and I tell ya, it was! The gentleman behind the counter was cheerful and warm and served up a sake bloody, as they don't offer vodka. It was pleasantly delicious! I had never had this with sake before and it was surprisingly delightful. I wish I hadn't already had lunch, as it smelled quite enticing inside the restaurant. The menu looked very appealing, lots of options. Would recommend checking out a sake bloody from here, as I feel it would not disappoint!
A great, affordable breakfast joint. During a Sunday it was surprisingly empty and we were able to order at the counter and seat ourselves. Food was cooked and served very quickly, and was excellent. My breakfast burrito has some nice flair with the sour cream drizzle and crunchy chips. There's patio seating out back and a table up front in addition to the tables inside.
