We loved it!
Found this cafe by accident just asking a passer by if there was anywhere to get bacon & eggs near where we were. This place is run by a couple and they offer a great breakfast choice: bacon, eggs, hash brown, toast, pancakes, waffles and French toast. My husband left his jacket there by accident and we called them & they held on to it to the next day for us to collect.
Seeking Breakfast as we Wall to our Destination
OMG, what a sweet Mom & Pop shop. Not the cleanest nor most up-to-date place, but if you want a great breakfast and very inexpensive for San Francisco, this is the place.
A small diner, at the corner of Sutter and Leavenworth. It has an old-world charm and the food is delicious. We had scrambled eggs and omelette, with toast and bacon.
The bacon was crisp and the eggs were just right, moist and not dry. The best was the hash brown - grated potato, golden brown. They will give you unlimited refills of the coffee or tea. And if you sit at the counter, you can enjoy watching the chef making your food. But the toast is not crisp and if you want extra butter, you may have to ask more than once.
They serve some Chinese dishes for lunch, too.
The are open only up to 2.30 pm and take only cash, no cards.
Definitely a place worth visiting several times.
Low prices, good quality, and friendly service. Has an old diner look, with most seating at the counter where you watch the hardworking cooks prepare your meal. Large variety on the menu, I will be back to try them very soon.
Good heart stopping eggs bacon waffles white bread toast.... Gotta have it once in a while...yummy! Did I mention the coffee....aaaaah
#SFBreakfastcafe is an amazing Turkish Cafe in San Francisco. It was a short walk from our Hotel and we were glad we found this place for breakfast. All their food is made in-house and very fresh. After looking at the menu We decided to go for the Turkish breakfast for one and share it. There was plenty of food for the two of us to experience it all and feel satisfied. The #TurkishBreakfast for one includes. Scrambled Eggs With Turkish Beef Sausage ''Sujuk'', 2 Sigara Borek (Deep Fried Feta Roll), Fries, Pastırma Assortted Platter Of Cheese, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Mixed Olives, Acuka ( Contains Walnuts), Honey, Clotted Cream, Tahini And Molasses, And Warm Pita Bread. It was a pleasure for all the senses. Visually beautiful, smelled so good, nice warm pita, and cool cucumber, and tasted exquisite. It was fun to combine the sweet cherry jam with the savory feta and salty briny olives. The eggs and sausage were a lovely compliment to the roasted peppers, hard cheeses, and warm pita. It was fun to combine the different ingredients. Each bite was a new experience in flavor pleasure.
My husband and I enjoyed our luscious breakfast with fresh drip #coffee Fresh #OrangeJuice and aromatic #EarlGreyTea It was a great breakfast and a perfect beginning for us in the morning. I would definitely go back to S F Breakfast Cafe again for more Turkish Breakfast or to try other fresh made food feast. #sanfrancisco
Nice family-owned Turkish lunch place. They cook food directly before the serving on the stove inside. The kitchen is not separated. And the restroom was a bit cranky 😅 but servants are very pleasant. Food .. we paid around 15$ for one dish. More taste like home made
This is a delightful family fun Turkish restaurant. Everything is fresh, and flavorful! Portions are large and the price us very reasonable especially for rhe quality and quantity!
We ate breakfast here three days in a row (2 days with groups of friends) everyone ordered something different and we all agreed everything that came was outstanding. They also serve the best Turkish coffee I have had outside of the Middle East!
You are cheating yourself if you don't eat here!
What an awesome, unique addition to the neighborhood!
This spot has so much to offer, with a bunch of Turkish and Mediterranean breakfast options like menemen, cilbir, and gozleme, plus the basics like pancakes, omelettes, eggs over toast etc. I’d recommend getting the breakfast for 1 to get an intro to the food if you’re unfamiliar, the beef sausage (sujuk) was spectacular!
The staff were all very nice and committed to making the food authentically. Everything is fairly priced, portions are fair, and restaurant is clean.
I can’t wait to come back and try the gyro wraps and kofte as they got those options for lunch / dinner too. Keep up the great work!
Visited SF breakfast cafe today. Excellent Turkish breakfast. We asked and confirmed it was halal. Got breakfast for 2, sujuck gözleme and pot tea. Loved everything. Definitely recommend the Turkish breakfast here!
Excellent breakfast spot. Staff was friendly, food came out timely, and was very fresh. We ordered the Turkish breakfast for 2 and it did not disappoint! It was fairly priced and even the drip coffee was great.
Really amazingly good food, we got the breakfast for 2, a delightful spread of items perfectly portioned. Tons of new flavors and flavor combinations for me. Vegetarian modification request was accommodated. A very well-balanced meal. Highly recommended!
I live by next to this place. it was a long time to cook and I decided to try to have dinner here. This is a very tasty place, with very nice staff and clean! highly recommend !
I tried the chicken wrap and it was amazing
Amazing food not just the presentation but the food too. The Turkish coffee was really great. Anyone in San Francisco should try this place once.
WOW ordered the breakfast for two and every item was incredible, the sausage and eggs and clotted cream especially! The staff was very friendly and answered questions about what everything was, the interior is simple but homey. Loved everything and felt great after, light, flavorful but also filling.
