Just go. It’s fun and silly and delicious. The brownies were rich and decadent, the cookies and cream was really good and the lil btch chocolate chip cookies were not as good as my homemade but still good. My teens enjoyed the laugh and their sweet tooth(es?) were satisfied.

Home-Sweet-Home If there's a line, there's always a sweetheart there to spark-up a nice conversation as you wait your turn. I love being in the general vicinity of Hot Cookie because the smells pouring out of the door match the people in their line and the neighborhood where they are located, SWEET. Their special of the month, the Donna Sachet was so delicious. I was outside when they opened so I got a warm gooey one. Bravo Hot Cookie! This is from their website dated 8/7/2023. This decadent cookie is named for a true living legend and the First Lady of the Castro – the dazzling Donna Satchet! Our classic chocolate fudge cookie dough filled with rich cream cheese chips and dried cherries, then topped with a glittery red topping in Donna’s signature color! We are celebrating the relaunch of Ms. Sachet’s classic production Sunday's A Drag at the historic Club Fugazi with a special tribute treat! 10% of the sales from this Cookie of the Month will go to support the Rainbow Honor Walk.

Pretty decent cookies! This review is for the traditional cookies they serve, pictured - not the phallic etc macaroon cookies this shop is so known for. I was looking up where to get the best cookies in San Francisco - this place came up on an article that listed the author's favs! It was also late at night... I placed a delivery order from this place and I wasn't expecting too much as I was in the mood for a variety of classic cookies and not so much the chocolate dipped private parts cookies, which look cool but I'd been advised weren't exactly the best tasting ones the shop had to offer. I also didn't wanna pay $15 a piece for one of them. The cookies I did receive were VERY big, and not super expensive - over $5 per cookie but, for San Francisco that's not a bad price. My favorites were the chocolate chip toffee, and the spicy cocoa cookie which is the darker brown one pictured in my photos. That one was really nice and chewy which I really appreciate. Just like their description boasted, it had a nice chocolate flavor and the spice came afterwards and lingered, and was nice and warm but definitely not too spicy. I think most folks would like this one. My partner loves a snickerdoodle and theirs was pretty decent, but definitely not the traditional snickerdoodle with lots of cinnamon sugar on the outside. This one had just a bit of cinnamon sugar on the outside - I wonder if some fell off in delivery or something. It had like, swirls of cinnamon throughout the dough. I did enjoy their cookies & cream cookie as well, it had a nice flavor. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked their oatmeal, chocolate and pecan cookie. Those are hit or miss for me but if I went back here, I'd likely get one of those again.

Favorite cookies! We stop in every time we are in SF for these cookies, and they usually don't make it home. The Betty White is our family favorite. Staff is always super friendly. They took the time to review the recipes for a unique allergy to ensure our safety.

They had a PB banana chocolate chip cookie that was gluten free! It was the only gluten free option they had, but I’m glad it was a good flavor. A little gummy, but still one of the better soft gluten free cookies I’ve had!
