I first saw Ginger Noodle hatch under Chef David Wong who created the menu & got the restaurant started. But after he left, quality & flavor declined. But now, under Chef José Troncoso, there is a flavor reawakening, a creative renaissance, and a quality leap from B-grade Chinese food to innovative & flavorful Asian and Fusion Cuisine. The General Tsao Chicken, pictured below, started as a budget orange chicken with chiles thrown on; now, the General charges full force with garlic, chile oil, and a scallion bite! My sister fell in love with the fried rice on the first taste (so much so that I believe my niece, who was only 3 weeks along when my sis found the dish, must be 65% Ginger Noodle Fried Rice). I intend to return after Chef José finishes the dessert menu; spoiler, I’ve heard of a Matcha Swiss Roll or Cheesecake, but only time will tell. I can’t wait.

Service was okay, decor very nice, ambiance well, seemed like chaos. But the eggdrop soup was very good, kalbi ribs very good also but the scallion ginger grilled lobster was not very good...the portion was very small not much meat. Hardly any flavor and no drawn butter. I had to ask for it afterwards and the server tried to explain that there would be a while before he could bring it, how do you serve lobster without drawn butter?... unless requested that way... It took 47 minutes from the time I ordered to the time my food arrived. Not worth the expensive pricing...especially the lobster, not worth it. But...with only 4 places to eat and the Grove Steakhouse reservations filling fast everyday, there's not much choice. So, if you're willing to wait 45-50 minutes, are lucky enough to find a seat, then enjoy but don't order the lobster, that's 40 bucks down the drain.

Great foods and you can ask vegetarian foods if you are a vegetarian. Thai Drunken Noodle is my favourite dish. Great manager, Priscilla, great chef, Matthew, Excellent services. Most of the time is busy except Wednesday, but good foods worth the wait. 😀👍

Went with Family my dish the Tokotsu Ramen, was watery and tastless. The egg was just a hard boiled egg with no flavor, not marinated like traditional Ramen. What saved this place from a 2 Star review was there drunken noodles and egg rolls. The Pho came out abit cold. Very surprised with the Ramen a dish that should be adjusted.

Very busy on a Sunday night. We were told the wait might be an hour, but then one entree came out in about 10 minutes and the second took 30 minutes. Not ideal for a couple trying to dine together. The pho was pretty good, but the pad thai was so spicy it was inedible.
