It was better than I ever could of imagined!!!. Highly recommend this place to any early 90's kids who want to feel nostalgic by playing the classics nintendo64 games. Also had some delicious beer 👌🏼 And a bowl of their bomb ramen despite almost having a heat stroke from how spicy that K.O sauce is lol. Still a great place overall to enjoy time with good company and have a beer and eat

I love any kind of steamed buns so the fact that they had well over ten to choose from was a dream come true for me. I ordered the lobster and pulled pork buns and they were incredible. The food was amazing and we played Mario cart old school Nintendo game console while we waited. The people were friendly and the ducks game was on so we got a two dollar duck bun. An overall amazing experience I would recommend to my friends and I'll definitely be going back.

A little reminder, we are running a McDonald’s giveaway so don’t forget to enter! Onto our review! Need a dash of nostalgia? The Safehouse just might be that place if you are a video game nerd like me. Located in North Park, their focus is on ramen, local beer, and of course the overall fun atmosphere.

The Safehouse Restaurant, known for their Japanese Cuisine and endless selection of craft beer, celebrates their one-year anniversary on Saturday October 10th, 2015. Located in the heart of North Park just steps away from 30th Street and University Ave., The Safehouse continues to offer some of the best ramen and steam buns in town.

This is my go-to spot! Def get KATANA FRIES: fries, soy aioli, sweet chili sauce & PORK BELLY (pictured). Wing Wed. (64¢) yum spicy garlic wings (pictured). They got classic Nintendo games too! I stop by daily after yoga at CorePower for the rotating local draft beer list!

Whether in ramen or in sticky buns, they have the best pork belly. Better than at Porkbelly. Two TVs, lots of videogames, big beer selection. Their Japanese ice-cream flight is outstanding. Two single-occupancy bathrooms.

Tasty Ramen and delicious duck buns along with a good selection of local beers on tap. The house pinoit noir is lovely as well.

Delicious Japanese comfort foods with video games set up. The steam bun flight is perfection and definitely recommend the Surf and Turf steam bun or the kurobuta sausage steam bun.

Great place for happy hour or a late night bite. Their buns and octopus are great. Happy hour specials vary daily.

Awesome bar with the perfect casual setting to hang out and enjoy a night with friends. Came here on a Friday night and there were the perfect amount of people there. Fun vibe but enough space at all the tables to hang out and spread out with friends. The tables on the sides are all connected to N-64 game players with old favorites like Mario Kart and Super Smash. So fun and free to play! They've got a bunch of different and unique beers on tap that range from $4-8 on average. Their menu is also unique. You wouldn't expect it but it's all Asian cuisine like ramen and steamed buns. Overall, really fun, chill option in North Park if you're looking for a place to go out but still be able to talk with friends.

Great food, delicious beer, fun video games, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Not really sure what else I could ask for! I love to come here and unwind after a long week. Nothing about this place feels forced or unwelcomed. I would very highly recommend the surf-and-turf bun!! (with a side of Mario Kart) Thanks, Austin and Justin. You will see us back many times.
