The dirty sauce that automatically comes on the sandwiches is delicious.
I had the Hollywood SF Cheesesteak sandwich on the Dutch bread. The meat was tender and flavorful, nice size sandwich as well.
The menu is almost overwhelming, but great ideas and names for these sandwiches.
Service was also very good
So many combinations and options. High quality ingredients and staff is so friendly and helpful. Obsessed with the decor of lunch boxes and stickers everywhere. wish I could try all of them so definitely need to make trips back to SD.
I wandered into Ike’s because I needed to get some lunch before an open house. The line was a little long and I was concerned about how long it would take to get my sandwich.
Luckily for me they were quick to get the sandwiches made and, while I waited I enjoyed the busy and fun decor. I especially liked that they honor those who serve in our military as I come from a long family line of military veterans.
I liked that everything was branded, from the sandwich wrappers, to the napkins and the bag the sandwich came in. An even more delightful surprise was the Carmel apple lollipop that came with the sandwich. A nice touch and pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back and I encourage you to check out Ike’s!
Visiting San Diego from out of town, and we stopped by after a day of thrifting. My significant other has raved about this sandwich shop for forever, but they seem to only be in CA.
We got the Ménage a Trois on their Dutch bread and voodoo chips. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! A large part of it was the bread, plus the full flavor that packed a punch! I couldn’t finish my whole sandwich so someone else from our group took the 2nd half, so keep in mind the sandwiches are totally shareable!
Would definitely come back again 👍🏽👍🏽
Our favorite place for lunch while visiting San Diego. Great tasting sandwiches with option of gluten free bread, professional staff, and clean space to sit and enjoy the meal. Lots of parking spaces plus close to SeaWorld San Diego.
I went in for a quick lunch based on the fact that gluten free options were available.
The staff wasn't too knowledgeable of the menu. I was with someone who is vegan and they had questions about the bread choices. The associate didn't know what the bread was made with specifically.
A handful of different options with halal chicken and gluten free subs. Some vegetarian and vegan options available, avoid the sauces as they also don't know what's in them.
Order service was expedient, no napkins to clean off the table, could be local cut down on napkins and waste.
I'd probably go back if I wanted a sandwich.
A lot of veggie selections but they are soy based so I can't eat them with a soy allergy. Bread is amazing and their veggie sandwich without the fake meats are really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful
Very very very good sandwiches! Think about a Subway with 3 times the taste / flavors and price as well.
It is a higher quality sandwich place that does not compromise the integrity of the sandwich in any level. Even the vegetarian options are delicious!
Quality does come at a price. Each sandwich starts at ~$10 + tax + tip + ~$3 for chips and a drink, so you're looking at ~$13 for 1 sandwich or ~$18 for a sandwich combo. Worth it? Maybe once in a while. Too expensive for a sandwich in my own opinion but it is delicious.
Fantastic place for sandwiches. I like their sauce and that there's selection of bread. Regularly get the jaymee sirewich. If a location in Eastlake / Otay Ranch opens, I'm done for.
Stopped by for a quick bite yesterday and was not disappointed. The restaurant is colorful and bright, the employees were friendly and fast. I had the “Sometimes I’m a Vegetarian” sandwich on wheat and even had half to save for later ;)
