Fattoush is my new favorite thing, and I don't even like salad! This place has the tastiest Mediterranean food I've ever eaten! Everything is sooooo delicious (especially the baba ganoush!! Omg!). They support and welcome travelers from all over the world - they have foreign currency pinned to the wall and a chalkboard with "welcome" written in approximately 20 different languages. The service is fast and personable. They bring you the food and ask you how everything is. They laugh and smile and everyone has a beautiful accent! They even gave us a sample of their Turkish coffee on the house. They were so sweet! I will come back here every time I visit San Diego!! Can't recommend it enough.

This play is hidden in a somewhat secluded alleyway off the main street. It's a small restaurant with limited seating where you order at the counter. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Ordered the chicken shawarma plate, chicken shawarma sandwich and Knafe. The shawarma plate comes along with pita bread and garlic dip and you have the option of ordering two sides. Went for the Baba ghanoush which is a preparation similar to hummus and tabbouleh which is like a salad with lots of parsley. All ingredients were fresh, had a mild flavor but still delicious. The Knafe which I tried for the first time is basically a plain pie served with sweet syrup. Wouldn't top my list of desserts but it's the only one here and worth trying once.

3.5 stars. My friends and I went here for lunch on a Sunday. A little difficult to find cz Google takes you along an alley. Just drive along clairemont mesa Blvd and you'll see a small sign on the left. The owners were friendly and the whole place is homely and sweet. Loved my kafta burger - patty was well cooked and flavorful. The bun was not too hard. The fries accompanying were also well made. My friends took the falafel platter. Although it is their signature falafel, I have had better. They are good, but the hype put higher expectations. So overall, this is a good place, an extra 0.5 stars for the nice owners, but for food I'd give 3.5 stars.

Wow. Wow. And wow. This place is spectacular. Best chicken shawarma I have had for a very long time. Excellent hummus, cucumber and yogurt salad, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and lentil soup, too. The prices are very reasonable and the people working here are a true pleasure to interact with -- they actually seem to mean it when they bring the food over and say, "enjoy!"

If you are looking for a fresh cooked goodness, homemade food then this is the place to go to. It does not come any fresher, better tasting, or smelling then here and their dessert maybe very limited but it's also very good, I have yet to have a better kunafa form any pastry shop then the one they make here because they take pride in their food and cooking and it comes across in the taste. Give them a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed enjoy and keep Googling because it pays to Google you discover The Good The Bad and The Ugly.

I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was one of the best I’ve had! Customer service is excellent, the gentleman at the counter was patient and took his time explain items from the menu. Small place, amazing flavor. Thank you, Milad.
