Unsuspectingly tucked away and surrounded by San Diego's biotech community is this little gem. Garden grown greens, well made food and good service. Green Acre as procured a loyal group of patrons, so don't be frustrated if you come at lunch and you have to wait 10 minutes in line to order, it is worth the wait! Try the Agua del Dia and don't forget they also serve breakfast and have take out chicken dinners you can order as well! I love Malarkey restaurants and it's so nice to have one close to my work and is more lunch centric!
Always amazing, have lunch here often. Tried almost everything on the menu and all superb. Great creative dishes with organic and farm to table fresh.
The food is good, and the portions are great for one! (Not shareable) the space is great for having lunch, and the service is great. Our server was very nice and helpful. I liked their pizza, especially its crust was very delicious. They have daily specials which are usually decent.
Just WOW!!! Absolutely love the quality of the service. Kristina F, one of the fabulous baristas at this location is a GEM!!! She is super quick and always serves up delicious coffee drinks. Upon ordering, she completed my coffee order within a few seconds. IMPRESSIVE!!! The espresso is the perfect balance of smooth and strong.
Hidden gem. Great place for lunch. Good food and outdoor seating atmosphere
Was here for a professional function. Located inside a business building. Just like the other location on John's Hopkins, this one is also beautifully decorated, has a cozy feeling but modernized. We were seated outside, there is a garden and nicely crafted paveway. The patio also overlooks the 5 freeway canyon, nice enough to see into the inland.
Great place. I had the tomato sandwich, very fresh and tasty.
Loved the drink and the quinoa bowl! The fries and fried pickles were okay.. won't be ordering them next time... Overall ambiance was great and server was very friendly 😀
The atmosphere is astonishing and the food is superb. I had the Salmon lunch plate and have been craving to have it again ever since. Beware though, the burps you will endure for the rest of the day due to the tons of garlic in the dish!! LOL
There's no table service which is ok.You have to order at the counter which is very easy and quick. Food was very good.Would highly recommend. We sat outside where there are great tables and a garden like setting.
Green Acre is located at the ridge, so you can look down a panorama
and feel some fresh air.
Prices for foods are not expensive.
I ate "Fish and Chips" and it was tasty.
It included mixed sweet potato fries and french fries together.
Friendly staff and good food. The happy hours are excellent Thursday and Friday.
Food was good. Coffee hit the spot.
