Exactly the place you should have street style, Tex-Mex food. . We ordered some tacos and enchilada . Both are really good. The tacos were absolutely delight to look at with all the red and green. We got the mixed enchilada chicken on one side and Beef. Both the rice and beans were tasting. Good .Portion sizes absolutely perfect. . Seating is limited and open. . Plenty of parking spaces . . Highly recommended this place compared to the expense shops, half a mile down the lane in old Mexican touristic town .

I wanted to go and talk to the cook whom I believe was the owner back when I used to go 20 years ago on my route during work but unfortunately was in a hurry. I am a chef and believe that this restaurant is the most authentic and flavorful of all the burrito places in San Diego. Best overall flavor and menu.

They offer one of the best breakfast burritos in town! The carne asada is excellent as well and you can’t go wrong with the tortilla soup. Consistency seems to be an issue, though. I got a carnitas burrito that was not good at all. Wayyy too greasy. Also sometimes the chicken is really tough and rubbery. I usually stick with either the carne asada or breakfast burrito. I’ve had excellent enchiladas as well but ran into quality issues with the beef and chicken. So be aware. Regardless, this place is a solid SoCal Mexican joint.

Bomb asada burrito! My only complaint is that I asked for beans instead of guacamole, and I didn't get enough beans. It was mostly asada and Pico. I'll make sure to ask for more beans. I'm from L.A. we love our burritos with beans and even Rice! SD should have an L.A. Burrito. Rice, beans, choice of mean and onion, and cilantro.

Ate here in February this year. The night before we left for our Hawaiian cruise. Had a rice & shrimp dish with cilantro. It was the best Mexican dish I have ever had. Also the very best meal I had during the whole cruise. Only problem we live in Illinois and will never get back out there. Wish I could recreate the recipe myself
