We went for the first time yesterday with friends that told us about the pastries. We were starving so we ordered the Cuban sandwich. OMG! The best Cuban sandwiches I have ever had they were amazing the guava and cheese pastries to die for and the meat pies delicious! I highly recommend this place if you like Cuban goodies.
Came here for the first time today after learning they have Cubano sandwich. It is fantastic ! We also had the Havana. Very delicious ! If like me, you like anything guava , this is the place to go.
Came in to get some goodies for my friends birthday and was amazed by the looks of the pastries and the smell of coffee! Maybe I will stop by for the coffee as unfortunately they are not focused on sugar free items but they do have gluten free items. I would def recommend it for those looking for sweet treats.
Wow peach champagne scone was ridiculously good! The mini meat pie was very flavorful! Love this place ❤️
Cuban style patisserie in San Diego. I recommend the meat pies and scones!!
Been here twice- the first time I got the meat pie, blueberry scone, peach scone, and a cheese roll. The scones are so light and moist with bits of fruit in them. The cheese roll is too heavy on the filling for me- I prefer Porto’s cheese roll. The meat pie is SO good. The next time I was in San Diego I went out of my way to come back and order extra meat pies. I also tried the Cubano pie, which also hit the spot. They were still warm when I got them.

Amazing coffee drinks. The Cuban Toast was PHENOMENAL!!! My friends LOVED the guava pastry. The last pictured item is a banana chia muffin with coconut and chocolate chips 😍
Amazing coffee, pastry, and sandwich deli in OB. The pastries are out of this world. It does get very busy during peak times, but that only means it's very well-received and sought after. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We discovered this amazing place on our second San Diego trip about ten years ago and we make it a point to come back on every visit. The Café Con Leches and guava pastries are amazing. We've always had great service here too.
Got their dulce de leche machiatto and it was okay. Great service and little coffee shop to visit in SD.
Azúcar is a favorite of ours. We visit annually during our San Diego trips. It's absolutely a no misser. Our favorites are the Cheese Rolls and the Cubano sandwich. There's a line sometimes but it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.
So delish. Our friend in OB took us here for bfast and it was so yummy. We got the Cuban pie, crème pastry and tons of others with coffee. I’m a realtor in Temecula so it’s nice to send people recs for outside of the area.
Friend and I stopped by for some pastries in a weekend morning, heard great things about this place. We ordered the Raspberry and passion fruit scone and a cielo de limon. Both had a great combination of sweetness and tart. First Cuban pastry spot I’ve had the chance to eat at and it did not disappoint.
