Azucar - San Diego - Photo album

Came in to get some goodies for my friends birthday and was amazed by the looks of the pastries and the smell of coffee! Maybe I will stop by for the coffee as unfortunately they are not focused on sugar free items but they do have gluten free items. I would def recommend it for those looking for sw
Wow peach champagne scone was ridiculously good! The mini meat pie was very flavorful! Love this place ❤️
Cuban style patisserie in San Diego. I recommend the meat pies and scones!! Been here twice- the first time I got the meat pie, blueberry scone, peach scone, and a cheese roll. The scones are so light and moist with bits of fruit in them. The cheese roll is too heavy on the filling for me- I prefer
Amazing coffee drinks. The Cuban Toast was PHENOMENAL!!! My friends LOVED the guava pastry. The last pictured item is a banana chia muffin with coconut and chocolate chips 😍
Amazing coffee, pastry, and sandwich deli in OB. The pastries are out of this world. It does get very busy during peak times, but that only means it's very well-received and sought after. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We discovered this amazing place on our second San Diego trip about ten years ago and we make it a point to come back on every visit. The Café Con Leches and guava pastries are amazing. We've always had great service here too.
Got their dulce de leche machiatto and it was okay. Great service and little coffee shop to visit in SD.
Azúcar is a favorite of ours. We visit annually during our San Diego trips. It's absolutely a no misser. Our favorites are the Cheese Rolls and the Cubano sandwich. There's a line sometimes but it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.
So delish. Our friend in OB took us here for bfast and it was so yummy. We got the Cuban pie, crème pastry and tons of others with coffee. I’m a realtor in Temecula so it’s nice to send people recs for outside of the area.
Friend and I stopped by for some pastries in a weekend morning, heard great things about this place. We ordered the Raspberry and passion fruit scone and a cielo de limon. Both had a great combination of sweetness and tart. First Cuban pastry spot I’ve had the chance to eat at and it did not disappo
My first time going to Azucar, I got the Little Havana cake (absolutely delicious), meat pies (very good too) and the guava and cheese pastry (I wasn't a fan). I would live to go back and try some more of their cakes !
A must visit when you’re in San Diego! All the cakes, pastries, and treats are beyond extraordinary- beautiful and delicious! I discovered this gem two years ago while staying at Ocean Beach then drove here from Mission Beach while visiting this last time. I wish I could find a bakery like this in C
This place is awesome and makes me think of South Florida where I use to live. Thanks Mandy who was our server and the many recommendations she introduced me to. Oh so good!!! Well made Cuban sandwich!! Toasted just right and the meat was just deliciously melted to every bite. The sea salt cookie
What a fabulous little Bakery tucked into Ocean Beach. Had to really look for it because it's a small, unassuming shop. Let me tell you, their baked goods are wonderful! Got our cookies to go and ate them while enjoying the OB Street Fair. Fresh ingredients. Nice bakery staff. Everything tasted so v
This was the highlight of my trip to San Diego! I’m so bummed we found this fantastic place on our last day. I was able to taste the quesitos, the pastries with guava, the pastelitos, had a delicious cafe con leche and last but not least the cubano sandwich! Everything was phenomenal!!! Seriously my
Best pastries I've ever had. This place is so consistent and I have such a difficult time choosing my dessert when I go because everything is just that good. Super cute décor and very friendly staff.
With a great assortment of desserts and excellent coffee, this place is without a doubt one of the best confectionaries in San Diego. There are lots of different flavors on the menu such as mango, coconut, chocolate and lime, so there's something for any taste. My personal favorite is the Hazelnut
I went for the first time today. I am of Cuban descent born and raised in Miami. These are by far the best pastelitos in San Diego and better even than at least 80% of the pastelitos you can buy in Miami. Most places in Miami now buy ready to bake goods and bake in the morning and theyre mildly stal
This bakery is really authentic, all the bread they make is a delicious, cashier lady pushy, it seems she is not hearing you. Food and coffee fantastic, this place is a must! Gem neighborhood!
