We got there today just before the lunch rush! Friendly Staff. Lunch was brought to our table promptly.
We had the Blueberry Pomegranate drink- Delicious, So refreshing.
Hubby had The Beefeater, I had The New York Yankee Regular. Had to bring 1/2 my sandwich home, it was so big! Lots of choices!!
Everything was delicious.
It's on the outer edges of NW San Antonio on Loop 1604, but spacious seating, looks new. The acoustics design of sound makes this location very noisy of customer chatter, chair noises, front counter, food prep kitchen and table cleanup noises, compared to the older, more established locations from Austin to SA, all of which are much quieter.
Visited on Tuesday, Dec 26 at lunchtime. A wonderful,cheerful cashier helped us unfortunately,I didn't get her name,but she surprised me, yet made us feel more welcome by complimenting me on my glasses. Amazing personality. She helped us with the menu & explained it to us.. delicious BLT with egg, ordered salad bar special,and drinks . Spoke to a mgr so the woman said she was,req a comment card, said none available & that she would give this wonderful employee "something" and tbat was it...will this employee ever be recognized? Who knows... or does Jason's deli recognize their employees at all. Did this mgr actually acknowledge this excellent worker,on the front line at the register, will I ever know?
I had chicken Caesar salad, broccoli cheddar soup, and a strawberry shortcake for dessert. I haven’t been to Jason’s Deli in a very long time (about 20 years…) It was really good.
FREE ICE CREAM!!! Ok, now that I've got that out of my system, this is a very FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE! Can't believe we've waited so long to visit! Not just sandwiches, they've got pastas, potatoes, soups and salads. SALAD BAR!! They've got a very well stocked bar with almost everything you can think of including little bread muffins. The kids meals are a bargain at $4.79 for a good size portion (see pic below) of pasta & meatballs + drink! I got a 1/2 sandwich & chips and upgraded to a bowl of soup. Total for 2 adults + 2 kids = $39, not bad at all.... Plus FREE ICE CREAM! did I mention that already? Will definitely be back!
Always fresh and flavorful. Lots of menu options with the best salad bar. Save some room for soft serve!

We have a great experience every time! Ashley prepared our to go order today and her and the staff at Jason’s Deli did an excellent job! I came to pick up a to go order for my daughter’s lunch and Ashley was sure get the order done on time. Thanks for the great service!
This is the cleanest Jason’s Deli and best stocked salad bar of the of the franchise in all of San Antonio. The employees are friendly and quick. Definitely recommend.
