Sushi quality is better than many, but not the best in San Antonio. The prices are good, though, and they have bento boxes for lunch.
We always have a good time here. The food is good but basic sushi. I have found places that have better prices. The highlights were the sushi combo bowl and their drinks.
Points off for the mid renovation in the back where we sat. The floor was so sticky that it grossed me out.
I went to this location for dinner. The atmosphere was amazing. Service is okay. Nice&clean table and restroom too. The food wasn't looking as good as the wurzbach location. And when I finished my dishes i get the bad news that they put some 🦀 in the top of the sushis. So this sushi is not halal.
A really great spot for sushi. Everything was authentic and made to perfection. I had various pieces of sushi which were much larger than expected and ended up being a nice treat. The yakisoba was delicious and was a unique recipe with mayo and pickled veggies. Finished up with some mochi ice cream and it was so tasty. I will be coming back here again for sure.
Alexis was superb taking care of my wife and I with Vegan/Vegetarian dietary restrictions! She explained everything and super friendly! We had great experience, ate tons of food, and topped it with green tea and dessert! Highly recommend their noodles!
We stopped in to try this place out for some dinner. They have some really good happy hour roll specials if you get their before 7pm.
The rolls we had where really good, it wasn’t very busy so we didn’t have to wait too long. The service was great 👍 they asked how we liked it and refilled the water at least 4 times.
This place also offers a very nice atmosphere too.
A nice place to get a good selection of vegan and vegetarian options. We always find a nice spread for a delicious vegetarian meal, including spicy tofu roll, veggie tempura, crispy tofu bowl, tofu teppanyaki, veggie roll, avocado roll, and more. The only item we weren’t a fan of is their tropical roll. They even have a veggie roll platter which is a selection of vegetarian rolls.
Sashimi and Sushi was great. Waiter was friendly and courteous. Wasn't overly thrilled with the noodles, but I'm sure other people would love it.
Great service, they are understaffed but who isn't at this point?
Angry edamame had great smoky flavor, not that spicy at all. I loved the cucumber salad!
My boyfriend got the Tower with tuna and loved it! I got Teppanyaki with chicken, it was a little too salty but I enjoyed the vegetable mix: asparagus, red bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, and onions. I would get it again if I'm in a soy sauce kind of mood.
Loved this place for both food and sake cocktails! Total value for money. Read below for detailed review.
We were here on a weekend for late dinner. The place was not crowded but had some tables filled, ensuring that they followed limited seating capacity protocol due to COVID-19. We had called in earlier to reserve a table. They were taking proper precautions - right from ensuring physical distancing between tables, to taking our food orders and while serving the food.
We had ordered the Yuzu Saketini and the Wakatake Sake bottle for drinks. The saketini cocktail was delicious with a nice Yuzu base and smoky aftertaste. I could down glasses of that one!
The shishito peppers and spicy edamame were great appetizers. I would definitely recommend the spicy edamame just for their smoked flavor with that just right spicy tangy sauce.
The rolls (Delicato, Bora Bora, Tropical, Ragin Cajun, Godzilla) that we ordered were all delicious, no complaints at all. I really liked the Bora Bora roll with shrimp tempura and all four sauces. I found the Delicato roll to be on the heavier side since it was crumbed and deep fried.
We loved the chicken yakisoba noodles that we ordered which they customized to make them more spicy.
A very good and safe dining experience with quality and tasty food.
