We came in for a quick snack before hitting the gym. We ended up ordering a little more than a snack because the menu looked so good. We decided to share the Tom Kha soup, Vietnamese spring rolls, and pot stickers. It was all really delicious and the person working came to check on to ensure we liked everything. It’s small but delivers on flavor and hospitality, definitely a gem on 281.
Was my first time dining here and just a week earlier had started to explore this area of town a bit more.
We started our meal with the papaya salad, which reminded me of the same marinade of a Yum Nah or Beef Salad, but on shredded pickled vegetables. It was sweet, sour, & crunchy, a nice start to our meal.
Next we ordered our entrees. I ordered the Pad See Ewe, which was a decent sized portion, and had decent flavor. The vegetables were crispy and had good flavor while the noodles were a bit lacking flavor wise. Im not quite sure what was missing perhaps it was the spice level. I ordered a medium and it was not spicy at all. I would have placed the medium on a 1-10 scale as a 2 or 3. I'll probably order hotter the next time.
Prices were fair, but not overly affordable. It was average as far as Thai food and restaurants go. The menu had many price increases added to it, one of which was Thai tea which was not priced properly. I mentioned it to the waiter but he only commented that the menu hadnt been updated. I will probably eat here again when in the area, but so far I haven't found anything that would bring me back specifically to this location.
We were so impressed! It's this unassuming little place, but very pretty and upscale inside. The service was extremely polite, quick, and helpful. I had the Pad Thai, and it was the level of tasty you'd expect from a very good restaurant. My date had the Thai Cashew Chicken; he said it was the best cashew chicken he'd ever had. The pot stickers and fried bananas were also delicious! We definitely have this restaurant on our list of "go to again" places.
Oh, they also serve Boba tea here. We didn't try it yet, but that's definitely a plus!
We we're craving Thai food, and stopped by at Yum Thai Restaurant, we started what a sampler platter, Tum Yum veggies soup and Pad Thai veggies plate all was good, and enough for free with left overs too. The staff was pleasant and very attentive to our needs.
This place has amazing food! The service is always top notch and never much of a wait. Highly recommend. 👌
I always get lunch takeout. The food is always delicious and the people are friendly. I always get the Panang Curry with chicken and added veggies! Yum!
Great food! Probably some of the best Thai in San Antonio! The green curry is the most flavorful! Have come way too many times but never been disappointed
I've been here twice now during lunch. I've been impressed. Service was good. Still needs some improvement though. However, the food was fresh and amazingly yummy. Some dishes are really spicy though, even though I ordered medium. The flavor is still incredible though. Restaurant was clean. Touchless menu was tricky to get to at first, but they have regular menus available as well. Spring rolls and soups are delish! Will come here again. Looking forward to coming for dinner sometime.
Food was great and great service also. Soups are delish......
Pretty good, overall. I didn't sit down to eat so I'm sure that the food would have been even better fresh from the kitchen. The pho ingredients were good and well-prepared. Their hot oil could have been a little hotter. But these are good problems to have. Will definitely go back again but try inside dining next time to get the full experience.
