What a find! This place is great and it seems like no one knows about it. Two tacos and a coffee for $3 is a steal! They have a lot of cool specialty tacos that are regionally inspired, like Monterey, Havana, etc. The green tamatillo salsa isn't crazy hot and is made with avacado. Their red salsa is roasted and excellent too. There's a drive through that is a little awkward in its layout, but the staff has been really nice every time I've been there. Get it before the word gets out!

My continual search for the best taco establishment in San Antonio led me to this Taco Eatery close to MacArthur High School. Needless to say, I’m a big fan of a great tasting, yet authentic, tacos; all kinds of tacos. With so many taco places in San Antonio, literally thousands, I’ve constructed a personal list of my top favorite taco restaurants. Last week Tacorito’s Sports Bar jumped right into that list! I arrived just before the dinner hour so it was semi-busy and the atmosphere looked great. The décor, as well as the interior design, of Tacorito’s was colorful and festive. There were plenty of big screen monitors throughout broadcasting sports in HD. I noticed that the place was kept very clean. All positive vibes so far. Then, Yvonne, a professional server, greeted me then took my drink order promptly. Although she was working several tables she was still professional enough to handle her section without missing a beat. I ordered the Laredo Plate or “Carnitas" w/rice (homemade) and charro beans and, of course, nice warm flour tortillas. After a normal wait, Yvonne returned with the Laredo Plate. The cook did not disappoint, for sure. Not only was the carnitas perfectly prepared (love the little chunks of pineapple) but also, the food presentation was very first-class. If you have never tried a “carnitas” plate this should be your first because you will experience a taste that will be hard to match. The Laredo Plate was awesome and they have more entrees, like the Dallas plate. This was a great experience. I will definitely be back and will tell friends and family about this San Antonio well-kept secret. If you’re stationed at Fort Sam, this is in your neighborhood, check it out.

We had an awesome experience with the food and service, and the prices were great too. We were on vacation and I found them on Yelp, looking for an inexpensive place with TVs to watch basketball. This was perfect! They mentioned a management change in 2016 an being slow to rebound, but I hope they succeed so we can go back.

The quality of the food and the service is incredible. The environment is perfect for any occasion that involves watching sports or just hanging out. The prices are incredible for the quality and diversity of food that you get. There is really no other place like this on that side of town that provides excellent quality food with great flavor and prices.
