I love their fried tilapia. It's so soft and yummy! 5.99 for a meal with a drink? Can't beat it.

I order grill chicken sandwich, whole wings, buffalo shrimp combo, extra shrimp and order of fries. The food was delicious I recommend that you go visit Big Jays.

Food still good, you can't go wrong whole menu good, tripe great my favorite, whole jack was 🔥🔥 I could have had another piece, catfish nuggets good seasoned well and fried perfect, I never tried they potato salad I forgot to order will try next time

Big Jay's is one of the best kept secrets in St. Louis! Excellent carry-out dining for fried seafood! Limited selection but great pricing! I highly recommend the fish po'boy and the fried shrimp! The guy who takes your order in the drive thru ( Big Jay?) is surly and deceptive; we asked (just to verify) if fries were included with the po'boy sandwich. The sign seems to indicate that they are but he yelled "NO!" We bought extra orders of fries and they were old and dried out! Good thing that fries WERE included because the ones in the container with the sandwich were fresh and well prepared. Key: READ THE MENU CAREFULLY AND ORDER EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT! And if your order taker is rude, TELL HIM SO! We did! You can call your order in or make your selections at the drive thru. The food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable! The food is worth it!

I'm from Dallas, TX and we have some of the best fish around being down south, but let me tell you that the Fish &Shrimp Combo is where it's at. I was a little thrown off that a combo didn't include fries, but for an additional $.99 no big deal. The shrimp are huge and the seasoning on the food is great. The only draw back I have is that they choose too early and maybe being from Texas expected a better customer service experience, but nonetheless I highly recommend.

This place is a must try eatery. My wife got the chicken Po Boy and I got the fish Po Boy with a side of onion rings. We'll be back to try more of the menu. We both were very pleased with Big Jay's Chicken And Shrimp. They have fast courteous staff/service.
