Best donut holes ever! I used to think wood river donut shop in Wood River, IL had my favorite donut holes but no these definately top them hands down!!!! And i love the little shop so much!

This is without doubt the finest donuts I have ever eaten. If you look closely, you will notice sometimes they stand and wait got the oil to get up to temp, this is why you never get a greasy donut ever.
At last!. I moved to St Louis 2 1/2 years ago, and I had lost all hope of finding a good donut here. Compared to the donuts I used to buy in Texas, the ones I had tried here were abysmal. They tasted like old grease, were dry, and the cake donuts always had a hard crust on them. But this week I discovered St Louis Hills Donut Shop and I am a happy camper. Good donuts at last!! The cake donuts are light and moist, unlike every other cake donut I have eaten here. The raised donuts and cinnamon knots were good, too.
Perfect Donut. I'm not big donut eater myself but the cake donuts at this shop, with their slightly crunchy thin outer shell, are something special.
Unbelievable. Without a doubt, the BEST donuts in St. Louis, possibly the world. Get there early, because the delicious donuts go quickly, and they close after everything is gone. Krispy Kreme donuts taste like cardboard and glue compared to these perfectly sweet, light, melt-in-your-mouth gems.
No doubt these are the best donuts in St. Louis. I've been coming here for years. Made fresh right in front of you. My dad drives from St. Charles to get them.
This place has one of the largest selections of donuts out of all the shops in St. Louis. They have all of the basics, as well as some creative variations of them. I haven't been blown away by any single donut here, but overall they seem to be consistently good. The old fashioned/cake donuts have a very good texture with a nice outer crunch and moist interior. I'd also highly recommend their apple fritters. Odds are, whatever you choose will be a good choice!
To this day, I've never found a better donut in all the cities I've traveled and lived in the US. Best vanilla long john you'll find and if you can get a specialty donut, you won't be disappointed.
Donuts were delicious (they remind me of the donuts I used to get growing up). Staff was friendly and the prices are great. I couldn’t be happier having this place in my neighborhood!

Best donuts in St Louis! When I moved here and tried various donut shops, I was so disappointed. I thought I'd never find a good (heck, edible) donut here in STL. Then I found St Louis Hills Donuts. Eureka! These donuts are wonderful!
Very small shop so there is not much variety but everything was very good!!!! The only bad part is NO DEBIT CARDS, BRING CASH!!!! They need to get a card reader machine!!!
This is the best kept donut secret in St. Louis. Bring cash, and don't disappoint yourself by only getting 6. Get a dozen.
All time favorite been going there since the'70s still go there on Fridays to this day when I go to cash my check at the bank across the street famous for them fritters the maple fritters got to get them I just had them for the first time couple months ago I could not believe I waited all this time you must try the old Fashions too they're pretty amazing everything is amazing there go get it go check it out you'll love it be there once you'll be there forever
Definitely the BEST donuts in St. Louis! My family and I went on a donut-tasting expedition and got a glazed donut (and a couple more) from all the recommended places people said were the best. St. Louis Hills Donuts topped the charts! Their donuts are moist, sweet, and absolutely scrumptious! Probably the most underrated donut place in St. Louis, but definitely the best! (If only they were open more, haha!)
This place has literally the best donuts in town. I recommend the old fashioned as the outside is crisp and sweet and the inside is moist and cake-like. Their donuts are substantial not overly airy making you feel hungry when you are done. Their coffee is delicious! The family who runs it is awesome, good neighbors to all. But the donuts speak for themselves, and they are perfection!
