Great little eatery with some of the best french fries in St. Louis. I drove 30 minutes to get an order of their superb Raclette cheese fries. They start with making fries as they do in Belgium: twice fried... once slowly at a lower heat (to cook thoroughly) and then quickly at a high temperature (to give them a great crispiness). THEN they warm a thin layer of Raclette cheese n thr wheel until it is melted, and then scrape it onto your fries (which they do several times). The result is awesome fries smothered in a magnificent layer of delicious melted cheese. These fries are a 5-star event.

Such a gem! Delicious food! Can’t go wrong with the sausages and the fries are amazing! The place is cool inside too. Also recommend the bottled cocktails!!

I'm a huge fan of Frankly Sausage's food truck, so I'm glad to see them open up a restaurant. They use nothing but high-quality ingredients; the sausages, fries, and sauces are all made in-house. They take pride in having the "best fries in town", but I'd say that they're a close 2nd. The dips are incredibly creamy and flavorful. They also have unique sausage options with different meats and toppings. Service is beyond friendly for both the restaurant and truck. There's more than enough to keep you coming back to Frankly, so give them a try!

We were the only ones in here as we'd missed the lunch rush on a Wednesday. The burger was like a gourmet White Castle, and I mean that in the very best way possible. The dipping sauces for the fries were so inventive, and they broil a huge wheel of cheese to scrape all gooey and melty onto said fries. Get in my mouth.

Everything is good. They're known for their sausages and fries but their "Oklahoma Onion Burger" is the best burger I've ever had in St. Louis. Honest. Also, there's a good beer selection.

I happened to stumble upon this gem on Cherokee street. Inviting atmosphere and comfy surroundings. They make their own sausage using local ingredients and have a variety of options, including a lamb sausage with Greek flavors, a traditional German style and my favorite the Mexican style (with fresh guacamole!) The fries are only four dollars and come with a dipping sauce (roasted garlic!) And you get a substantial amount for the price. They also have a fried chicken sandwich and burger, as well as a variety of beer options. Check them out!

Outstanding service and Atmosphere. I love the repurposed railroad tie lights. Loaded fries are a must. The Italian sausage was solid.

My husband, son and I visited around dinnertime on a Thursday night. It's fairly new, and I loved the open, rustic modern design of the dining area. I ordered their beer brat and a side of Raclette fries. Service was amazingly fast and friendly. A brat is a brat--unless you come here. I was so impressed - just loved it! The fries were delicious but I would order them without the cheese next time; they are a stand alone for me.

High quality sausages with interesting combinations of toppings. The fries are good, and every sauce option is excellent. Staff was nice enough. There's a giant canvas with a close-up portrait of a pig face, which is mildly unsettling.

Really good, and in fact, brilliant. The sausages are Sublime. The Smashburger is absolutely Sublime, and fairly large. The french fries are prepared in a complicated process where they're frozen then blanched then fried Etc and they are just dreamy. Crispy on the outside but creamy on the inside and the fries are very large. Their hours seem erratic, though, I have been by when they're supposed to be open and they were closed so I don't know what gives. But if they're not open lots of other things on Cherokee will be.
