I've been to Mo Mo's 4-5 times.
Between my dining partners and me, we've had a 4-way plate (bbq'd tri tip, hot link, ribs, and chicken), two bbq sandwiches (chicken and hot link), gumbo, fried cabbage, peach cobbler, baked beans, cole slaw, fried cabbage, and corn bread.
The baked beans, cole slaw were good.
The ribs and tri tip were very good, moist and flavorful.
The gumbo, barbecued chicken and hot links were outstanding, the best bbq we've had in the Sac area.
The fried cabbage and peach cobbler were also outstanding.
Portions were generous, including the free meat sampler.
Sharon and Glenn served us. They were knowledgeable (after all, they do the cooking!), personable, and professional.
We'll definitely return!
The spicy sauce is one of the better sauces I have had. As a former resident of Kansas City and North Carolina the barbecue here is pretty legit. Get the ribs!
This BBQ was the best I have ever had!! The owners were really nice people that make you feel at home. I'm looking forward to going back for more. I wish so much that I knew how the made the chicken. So good it makes me want to cuss.
This place is soo awesome!! I was lookin for a really gold place for BBQ, and u found it.
My friend who’s been going here for a long time brought me to Momos yesterday and I was not disappointed. The ribs were 🔥, chicken smokey and perfectly seasoned, and the sides excellent. I foresee random out stops for mac & cheese and greens in my future.

This is great bbq place I've been. I ran into it on accident while going to the DMV and getting my live scans.
The bbq is amazing, it's better than some of the places I've experiences in Sacramento.
Today I have officially tried everything on the menu and the tri tip is my favorite. I love the sides like the greens or pepper jack Mac.
By far some of the best bbq I've had in California so far. The staff here is top notch and are nothing but kind and sweet. The food is soooo delicious, I can't recommend it enough!!
Also Glen is such a fun guy to talk too!
Great food, well seasoned AWESOME customer service which made the food that much better, although the hot links had a lil kick. Waiting to try the infamous Mac n cheese.....my Mom enjoyed it as well....we will be back.
A friend from work recommended Momo's to me. This is the best bbq I've had in Sacramento. I got a full slab of ribs, baked beans, and pepper mac, along with both the hot and mild sauce...everything was delicious, the portions were huge. I'm stuffed and I've got a little more for seconds and even more for the omelet pan tomorrow morning. Can't wait to get back and try more. Oh yeah, they're hella friendly and outgoing...support your local business and visit momos.

Delicious food with friendly owners. The BBQ is cooking right in the parking lot and grilling up amazing ribs and tri-tip. The beans were unbelievable. yes it opens at 11 and there is a line but the food isn't ready until closer to 12. Just to know.
Saw smoke and stopped to say hello to Glenn. So glad I did. Fantastic bbq and super friendly service. Huge servings, too. I’ll be back!
Good things come to those who wait! Driving up you can see the billowing smoke from the grills in the parking lot and it smells delicious. I had to wait a little to get my food, but it was worth it when I did. I had the tri-tip plate with greens. The meat was very flavorful, sliced thin and tender. The greens were really good with some sausage slices that were a nice surprise. The chef and the ladie taking my order were super nice.
