Came with a group of 4. In my opinion, closer to a 3.5 star meal, but rounding to 4.
We ordered:
-sake bomb pitcher: good to share with a group
-spicy edamame: perfect amount of spice, not too saucey
-ika ring: wouldn't recommend, tasted more like fish paste rings
-3 item bento (beef teriyaki, sashimi, tonkatsu) Staff forgot to give salad and soup, so I had to ask for it. Not a fan of the tonkatsu. Too thin and overcooked. Sashimi was ok, would have been nice to get other cuts of fish besides tuna.
-stuffed mushroom: good
Rolls: james bond, double spicy, galleria, maui, lucky 7. On the menu it does mention they are 50% off, so the rolls are on the cheaper side.
Lots of seating inside.
Parking in the plaza is easy to get as well.
Today we checked out a spot for sushi. I have been here but my girlfriend, it was her first time. For the appetizer we had stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer. They were absolutely good and between 2 people, was a good sized portion. For the entree, I had the Shrek, she had the Firefly. Both were great. We ended up paying about $43+. Todays prices, it was fair. Also the sushi was half off.
Nice little place. There's tint on windows so it looks closed but they are open. It is nice inside. Food was good for the price. Service was also nice. Mostly all rolls 50% off all day. They aren't large but they are between $6-13 per roll after the discount.
Very good sushi and affordable
Excellent service by Nappi who severed us and was very friendly
Had a Special Dinner with My Close Friend to Celebrate My Birthday. Food was so good. I also love pretty food. The dinner made my day. I had been to this place once before on a date but, didn't get to really focus much on the restaurant service and food. I was more concerned about how crowded and popular it was & whether or not we'd have a table. This time everything was perfect. This is the Howe location which is said to be one of the best sushi restaurants in Sacramento. I highly recommend this place.
Super fast service! We were seated, and helped within minutes.
Ordered the sake sampler... not bad.
And the rolls we got were good.
Didn't really care for the spicy edemame. Not bad, just different than what I expected.
Arigato Sushi Restaurant is an absolute must-visit for sushi lovers. The sushi is fresh, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional and creative sushi rolls, and the presentation is beautiful. The restaurant has a clean and modern atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. The sushi bar is the perfect place to watch the chefs at work, and the service is top-notch. Overall, Arigato Sushi Restaurant is an excellent choice for a special occasion or a casual night out and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi.
Food is always the best. A couple of the older women there, like the ones that seat you and the ones that greet you as you come in are a little rude and lack polite mannerism, but the food and ambience is always good. The Mexican lady that cleans the tables and the cooks are great.
Yummy, fresh, and cheap. The ambiance is really nice too, the whole place was very clean and neatly ran. One small negative was the one waiter we had was servicing about 10 tables and so I feel like they could add a few more staff, but the service WAS top notch. Still very attentive even though the waiter was really having to work.
This is our favorite sushi restaurant to go to in Sacramento. Still a little expensive, but what you would expect for quality sushi. I recommend the Super Mario roll, TNT, and Sexy. If you’re in the mood for a plate, go with the bento box.
