Macgregor's Grill And Tap Room

My wife and I have been going to this store regularly for 12 years. The staff is always very friendly, waitresses always on top of things. The selection of beer is like no place I've ever seen and always served cold. I dont wander much from my two favs, fish and chips or nachos, but my wife has something different each visit.. Try the pastrami wrap, yummy! We're sorry to see it temporarily closed cuz of Covid but look forward to another visit soon.

The prices are pretty steep (6 for house Pinot) , but the service is excellant. We were able to sit outside and we had an enjoyable evening with friends. We ordered potato skins and they arrived hot, and without chives, as requested. We've also sat at the bar and had a delightful time. They were also pleasantly willing to split the check. Definitely will return.

Pretty decent place. Went with a very large group of about 40 people. We had the upstairs all to ourselves. Had a small buffet and the food was great. Waitress was great and remembered everyone's drink even towards the end of the night. Drink prices are pretty high compared to most places. But since i don't go to bars much it was fine.

Generally food is excellent. This time ordered guiness shepards pie. Not impressed. No flavor. Would not recommend. And this is pretty but I am a coffee drinker. They gave me 2 creamers asked for more. Got two more. Had to do the same thing with my refill. I could understand if the place was packed. There were 10 people in the entire restaurant.
