Loved it! Stopped in here after a bad dining experience. Ended up having wine & chocolate flights, dessert, & coffee. The owner and wait staff were wonderful and attentive. Desserts were excellent, atmosphere was quaint and charming. We were seated on the back porch which was wonderful. The artisan chocolates are fabulous. Will definitely go back!

A nice little place. Stopped by here last time I came home and my girlfriend and I absolutely loved it. I had the coconut sorbet and she had the pistachio cheesecake along with a few various chocolates which we both enjoyed. I also appreciated that they had french press coffee to go with their beer and wine selection. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.
Chic & Unique. A Rochester Gem! Its something new and refreshing that gives Rochester that big city, Brooklyn-Park Slope feel. The chocolate is excellent. This establishment is not filled with just smart people, but cool people and foodie-artisans. And no, I was not paid to write this, this place is just that dope.
Good spot. Wife and I visited for first time tonight, which happens to be our 11 th wedding anniversary. Tough getting to the door as the snow was not shoveled, but we made it. We had a chocolate mousse and a cannoli. The mousse was really good, and the cannoli was excellent. We enjoyed our brief visit (needed to pick up son from sitter) and will surely visit again. Hopefully the walk is clear of sloppy slush and snow next time.
A ROCHESTER GEM! I took a friend out for her birthday last night and we were blown away by this treasure. Our server was the co-owner, Danielle, and she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and charming. Our wine was reasonably priced and phenomenal. Our cheese board was rustic, beautiful, and delicious. We ordered an array of desserts and they were some of the freshest, most unique treats we'd ever had. All four of us were blown away by the owner's personal commitment to superior service and a quality product. You are sincerely missing out if you don't visit this beautiful restaurant - and order the marscapone!
Fabulous Find!. The restaurant has been here for two years but we went for the first time tonight after visiting the Memorial Art Gallery. First impressions were OUTSTANDING! Menu is diverse - something for everyone - four kinds of pate (can't find a comparable selection anywhere else in town), cheese plates, desserts galore, candy of every flavor, wines (local and international), beers (Belgian Kwak in its distinctive glass and wooden stand), dessert wines, tea and coffee. Reasonable prices in a lovey old, intimate home. Excellent and friendly service. Loved the assortment of light plates as well as decadent desserts. Can't wait to introduce our friends to this fabulous find!
I love this place. So far I have tried there separate desserts here, and each one was excellent. I will be returning again, and again, and again, and again, and again.
BEST CHOCOLATE AND WINE I EVER TASTED. I totally see why this restaurant was voted one of the best 10 restaurants in Rochester. They have the best lemon chello and chocolate mousse I've ever tasted. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys chocolate, wine and cheese. Oh, and don't forget to check out their deserts. AMAZING

A marvelous experience. I really loved my visit to chocolate and vines. I wen there for a pre-party treat with 3 other people. Great selection of local wines. All different kinds of cheese, truffles, and desserts. and not expensive, either, because when you walk in it looks like it will be. But a bottle of wine, a cheese platter, and truffles for all four of us only came to $38. And the owners are also incredibly nice and made it a fantastic experience.
Fantastic local place. I can't say enough positive about this place. We spent an evening here playing pool, listening to great music and enjoying fantastic chocolate, cheese and wine. I would HIGHLY recommend that you stop in and enjoy some time in this warm environment. The staff are awesome and the experience is unique.
I was on a date when I went here with my partner, it's a cozy nice upscale place for dessert imported truffles cheese wine and beer. The owner Michael was very nice and has great knowledge about wine and great wine trails. The house is decorated beautifully. We had the chocolate fudge cake and hazelnut cake with a dessert red wine that went perfectly with our dessert. It was a wonderful experience here.
Went there with some friends last month and I still think about this place. It’s small, cozy and intriguing. It’s definitely perfect for a little date and hopefully next time I will return with one of my own. I can’t remember which tasting I had but between the 4 of us I know we tried majority of the menu and didn’t leave disappointed.
We had a lovely time! The staff was fantastic, the truffles were absolutely delicious, and the wines we had were great. I'm so glad I was able to try some wines I haven't had the chance to try before.
The gentleman who take care of us knew his stuff. He was extremely helpful when we asked questions and was able to walk us through the many different options we could get. The chocolate and wine pairing was fantastic! Would definitely go back again soon.

delicious pairings for both wine and chocolates. staff was nice and helpful in making decisions. great for a girls night out or a nice dessert after dinner. i went before dinner and it was not disappointing. cheese plate was nice as well. i would go back and even take some truffles home.
This place just delightful. It's great for a date or getting together with other wine lovers. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. We always enjoy ourselves when we go. If you don't like wine, that's okay too. They have other options and their desserts are delicious. Try the truffles! Uh-MAZING
My husband and I stopped into Chocolate and Vines for the very first time tonight and were not disappointed! These were some of the best truffles we have ever had. The staff was also very kind and helpful!
Went here recently for the first time with my wife. It's a converted house on University, not much to look at from the outside, but the atmosphere and decor inside are great. The food is even better. We went for desert and coffee, everything was great. The service was excellent. Definitely going back!
The wines are delicious by themselves but the pairings are what makes this place great! Would recommend the wine and chocolate flights
