New China

So close to us. Been here 23 years. For many years the only place I would order from. Then there were so many years it wasn't good, but, wow! Order on 12/16/23, and it was so delicious! Thank you so much. The spring rolls, chic on stick l, shrimp mie fien, and my veggie mushoo was delish!

I’ve been up in Rochester on a business trip for work. One of my favorite types of food is American Chinese. Of course, there’s numerous options of where to go, and after trying a few different ones, New China lands #1 for me. The prices are fair, the food is never a disappointment, and they’re super nice to me in there. Sometimes I DoorDash the food, or I’ll go pick it up; I’ve never had a problem with either experience. The pork lo mein is so good, the egg rolls are super crispy, and I love the fried wantons. Will continue to order from here as long as I’m up here!

We tried this for the first time after driving past it for years. We had other go to Chinese restaurants, but for some reason they change owners, and they’re just not the same. Chinese takeout can be subjective where you my want lots of sauce or little sauce and other things like that. We heard about New China from a coworker, decided to give it a try. We ordered Pork egg rolls, Dumplings, and two dinners. Also, the house special fried rice. Everything was really good. We’ve been back twice since then and the food is good. The service is great. My only complaints are, they charge extra for hot oil and in all 3 visits the parking is just a free for all.

I ordered for the first time from here today and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered an egg roll, pork fried rice, wonton, and Kung Pao shrimp. Everything arrived ahead of schedule, cooked correctly, and piping hot. In fact I enjoyed the egg roll, rice, and wonton so much I had to save the Kung Pao for another day. Everything had great flavor, and when I got home over an hour later the Kung Pao was still hot. Impressive. I'm very particular about my Chinese food and will use this place as my east side go to. Update... just ate my Kung Pao shrimp today and it was good. Plenty of shrimp and tasty. Wanted to order additional shrimp but I found there. Was enough in it already. Officially my east side go to.
