Love this place! It’s a must have every time I come back and visit Rochester. You’ll run into some long lines but that’s a testament to the product you’ll receive. Highly recommended any time of year!

Best spot for frozen custard in Rochester. Right up on the lake next to Ontario Beach Park, plenty of parking nearby, and this place is always hoppin! Nice for a family outing, or a nostalgic date night with your significant other. Chocolate almond on a waffle cone is my go-to. Note: custard is a softer 'soft serve' ice cream and it melts very quickly. Have little ones? Grab a pile of napkins...you'll need it.

Delicious black raspberry with rainbow sprinkles cone. My BF had a chocolate cone. Great way to end a not as great lunch at another location. Nostalgia hit at this location - a pay phone!!

We come from PA to grab ice cream from Abbott's. It's our tradition whenever we spend a day at Ontario Beach. There's always a unique flavor, and it's always done well, like the Movie Night we had most recently. We're typically hard-dip ice cream lovers, but this is the best soft serve treat to us!

The custard is delicious! The staff is friendly and kind! But honestly, the service seems slow. We waited between 10 to 15 min to be served in line with 2 small groups ahead of us (2 to 3 people). On our day the custard was a bit extra soft too. Despite it being cooler, the custard melted fast.
If you go, it is a delicious treat that is a local icon! Just know ahead of time that this delicacy is moderately priced, the wait times can be long, and the custard melts fast!

Very friendly staff. Quick to get our order. Delicious as always. They did a good job handling the rush of people during a hot summer day and the customer service was excellent. Took the time to answer questions about the menu.
