Fantastic. Godfather with double meat is my go to. Best sub I've every had, Indiana it New York. Now I have to fill this box because I have to hit 140 characters.
After seven years of living in Europe, the one thing I craved, almost above anything else was a sub sandwich from none other than the DiBella’s, the best subs on the planet.
I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, a 7-inch meatball on a seedless roll with mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan and light on the sauce. A cup of lobster bisque with a slice of garlic bread, chocolate chip cookie, and a Pepsi.
The quality of their subs is astounding everything from the bread to the sauce to the homemade Italian meatballs. As everybody likely knows, Wegmans the local grocer, purchased the recipe from the DiBellas some years ago, but they were not able to purchase the meatball recipe, which is arguably the best in the world.
The bread is always baked fresh. The ingredients are always the best you can get. Each sub is prepared to order and delivered timely and professionally.
The lobster bisque is the best I have ever had.
Clearly, I am biased after having lived in the area for a lot of years, but even with all of that nostalgia, there is little arguing that these subs are the best in the world.
This location, like all DiBellas locations, is incredible. It's fast, the workers are always chipper and friendly and their subs are pure perfection. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to a sub but DiBellas always does.

Lots of room here, even if crowded. The line moves swiftly, Any conceivable choice of cold cuts , and others on menu. Different homemade breads, dressings . Great cheese choices too!! Soups are yummy good to earn on a cold day. This place is just over the top!! 😍. I'll post pictures the next time I go... This is the Flagship store. Worth the trip from anywhere in Henrietta and beyond 🌈 Take your time to write everything you want on your Italian bread 😉 so you won't be like,"Duuuugh" 🤔
Good sub. We shared a large Italian Assorted and couldn’t finish it. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I’m interested to try one of their hot subs next time I’m in Rochester. Old time music at a good volume made it a nice place to eat as well.
Very friendly staff our subs were amazing and our order was marked clearly so we could tell the subs apart and delicious
Fantastic subs! Wish there was one in my area. Very customizable - great ingredients in the bread is fantastic.
My daughter and I popped into DiBella's recently, per her suggestion. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE DiBella's. Their subs are the best I've ever eaten. Mondays are my grocery shopping day, and since she was with me, I decided to let her choose somewhere for lunch. I was thrilled she chose DiBella's. My absolute favorite thing to get is their lobster bisque. Holy moly. It is the best I've ever eaten. That bisque with a side of garlic toast is so yummy, especially in the cold winters here in Rochester, NY. I also like to get their Boss panini from time-to-time. I was sad to see that the option for a sandwich and soup combo had been taken off the menu, but things change, I guess. On this particular visit though, I got The Old-fashioned. It was a warm November day, and soup didn't feel right. Only a cold sub would do. The meats are turkey, ham, and genoa salami. I chose sesame bread, with provolone cheese, and added lettuce, red onion, mayo, mustard, and oil. I paired that sandwich with a bag of baked lays and unsweetened tea. Yep. It hit the spot. So stinking good. And this is my favorite DiBella's in Rochester. I've been to others, but they lack a certain atmosphere about them. Food is the same, but ambience is not. Y'all come on out for some delicious food. And end your meal with one of Grandma's cookies. Wowzer. You will not regret it.
Good as always but a few nit picks, they covered up the area where your sub is made, I liked being able to see things and alert them to possible errors. The price was quite expensive and lastly, they did away with wraps (my wife's favorite). It was very tasty but I may not be returning?
No matter which Dibella's you go to ...your in for a treat! I've gone to East Ave, Henrietta, City Gate locations and they all do great business. Become a member and you can rack up points and receive deals & coupons...worth the process. Also there call in or app service is great too!
Photos are of the City Gate location.
I got a meatball sub there and the meatballs were delectable. Tasty and abundant. The bread was fresh and soft on the inside with a crisp crust. The cheese was flavorful with great texture but not overpowering. My family also got subs, a wrap, soup and garlic bread. The garlic bread, that came with the soup, was great. They even allowed my son to get garbanzo beans on his wrap, while it was an unusual request their compliance made him extremely delighted.
