Shay was our server and she was excellent! She made our stay very welcoming and was very helpful going over the menu and answering our questions. The food was top notch and I can't wait to go back again! Well done!

Went here last night with some coworkers and an out of town guest for a business dinner. Absolutely fabulous!!! Awesome Greens and Beans and the filet was to die for. We followed it up with sharing a slice of their lemon cake and a house cannoli. Definitely going to be going back. Thank you for the excellent meal! Our server, Henry, was also great!
Some selections are pricey but the food is well prepared. If you want a pizza you can keep the price down. Specials will eat your wallet. Svc was great. Liked the venue for ambiance BUT as it fills with patrons the noise db can really rachet up to very distracting. Still recommend it if you can tolerate the noise.
We feel that the menu change from the old Tony D's is probably not for us. Very eclectic. The night we were there, there was a bone in rib eye big enough for 2. We did order it. It was phenomenal! 4 star for food because much of the menu is not our taste. 4 star for atmosphere because it's too loud in there.
The waiter Nick, (he's a 5 star), was outstanding and very helpful in choosing our order.
We may go back for appetizers some time.
The new location does not have the same appeal that the old one had....
Behind the bar it was pretty much a hustle of making drinks for the wait staff...not a lot of attention to the cutomer service at the bar....just making and pushing the drinks, which I get...but it never felt like that at the old spot and the bar just seemed a little more the hub downtown, not the service desk.
Inside, loud way loud. Pretty full no need for music over the sound system, just made it that much louder. Hostess very accommodating and gracious. We went outside, outback....much nicer vibe. Wait staff excellent and food still very good....an occasional train didn't distract. There is a small area outside that served as a cigar cigarette lounge, that's a nice feature and although there were 5 guys smoking over there you would never know it, no smell in the air.
We didn't feel like we were hustled out from our table after dinner, nor did it seem to be the case anywhere, people were taking there time.
Prices were reasonable for food, add your drinks then it get a bit pricey
Had a wonderful evening on the outdoor patio. Great food and service. I especially loved their garlic rapini and pine nut specialty appetizer which came with a side of delicious garlic bread. A garlic lovers dream haha :)
Good food, large portions. Service was great. It was loud but its expected from the crowd, not a bad thing. View of the river is nice. Bathroom was clean, kitchen was visible from my table, the cook was portioning pasta with his bare hands not a glove visible on any of them, and the pizza cook was drinking from a cup from a shelf above the prep table he made the pizza on. They accommodated special requests on the dish to remove anchovies and made buttered noodles for my child. Even though there is no kids menu so that's a plus.
I can’t say enough great things about the staff at Tony D’s. They worked with me to accommodate my very, very large party for the next day. Even when plans changed and my party turned to just a very large party, Nicole, Linda, and Seth rolled with it and made it all work. The food and service was as great as the hospitality. I highly recommend for large (or very large) groups but even if it’s just your family, you can’t go wrong!
This new location is great! The menu has a lot to offer with plenty of modern takes on your Italian American favorites. The dishes felt fresh and unique, yet still familiar which should please any crowd. The portions were surprisingly generous as well. I ordered the Atlantic Cod (fish and chips but Italian style) and was surprised to see three large pieces of fillet on my plate for $28. I would have been happy with a serving half that size, and not the mention he fish was perfectly cooked. The same goes for the pasta and other entrees that I saw at my table as everyone had something to take home.
The service was friendly and attentive, although there could have been a little more care with table maintenance as we had some empty glasses on our table most of the night. Our server Sarah was very friendly and personable making great suggestions with the menu.
Finally, the decor was very well done and on pace with other restaurants in the area. The space feels fresh, modern, and not stuffy by any means. The Italian influence felt well placed without being a caricature of the culture.
We had a great time and look forward to coming back soon.
It had been years since I last went to Tony D's. First, their Italian bread was better than most. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken on the side. There was enough for 2 more meals. I liked it well enough. My husband ordered pan fried cod. It's not often that he orders fish and he had no complaints. Our server whose name was Matt was outstanding. He was personable and was able to answer any questions we had. The only complaint we had was the noise level. You have to speak up in order to be heard.
Hands down the best food I have had! The beef tenderloin was amazing.
So tender, juicy and flavorful!! The drinks were just as good. Had the strawberry basil and summer lovin' both so refreshing and delicious.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was amazing. The entrance had film, car, music and art memorabilia on the walls which was really cool. Kristin was our server and she was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back.
