One of my favorite French restaurants in Connecticut. It's definitely fancier than most restaurants I go to so make sure to dress up. The prices I felt were reasonable for a nice date night. The service is always great. The wait staff are always attentive. The lemon tart for dessert is really sour! Just a little heads up, I enjoyed it a lot but the tartness caught me by surprise. The duck dishes here are always amazing. It's definitely a drive for us but totally worth it.
One of the best restaurants Connecticut has to offer. The food is just incredible. The flavor is amazing. Alex our waiter new the menu completely to help us out. Thank you
A wonderfully varied menu with deftly and delicately executed dishes. There wasn't a single item we ordered that wasn't beautifully plated and prepared to perfection. Add a warm environment and professional service and you have a contender for best restaurant in town. If this is in your consideration set - just go!
The singular knock I'll give is that their cocktail menu offered no brown liquor drinks. That said, my pomegranate margarita was killer!
Sara, the owner, was great at communicating the lunch details beforehand. Service was amazing and the people super friendly. Beautiful setting, the garden and the patios. The food is top notch, nice presentation as well. Would recommend for your special occasions. Prices are reasonable.
Great French food with live music
Food is not too sophisticated but well done.
The sweetbreads and the goose liver are amazing
A beautiful setting with lovely piano music for an elegant dining experience. Service was attentive and the food was good but not exceptional.
Looking for a new French restaurant because our favorite French restaurant La Panatiere in Rye unfortunately went out of business.
Upon arrival, we were promptly seated by the hostess. The restaurant is nicely decorated and at 5:30pm on a Saturday night, it is not quite busy yet. Warm bread was served and the cranberry one was good. We were given one piece and when we asked for another piece it never arrived. We even asked couple of times but we didn't get it anyway it's okay because we only reward excellent service.
Now onto the food, French onion soup was good but lacking in cheese, grilled octopus was excellent, Soft shell crab was amazing as well as the short ribs. I love soufflé but they don't have it iso I didn't order any for dessert.
Definitely we will come back if we are in the area.
Very nice place great atmosphere, live music very talented. The bread was home made and heavenly. Tried the hand cut seasoned fries as an appetizer.....perfect!
Main course was Beef short ribs and fresh cut vegetables with bok choy.
Desert was a whole new level.... chocolate mousse Devine!
Highly recommend you stop in and enjoy the fine cuisine.
