It takes a little effort to find, but once you do, it's well worth it. Although some of the staff have a bit too much attitide, this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is great. The escargot is a must! The last time I enjoyed escargot this much was when I was in Paris. A few celebs have been known to frequent this spot and I completely understand why. This was my first time visiting this location, but it surely will not be the last!

Everything was fantastic! I went with my boyfriend for my birthday and we couldn't have been happier. We sat down just after 5 o'clock and good thing we did! By 5:30 they were packed (for good reason!). All the food was fantastic, I got the hot salmon dish and my partner got the rack of lamb. Both were delicious and came out quickly after we finished our charcuterie appetizer. The creme brulee was a perfect finisher. I also got one of their house cocktails and it was delicious but dangerous. Definitely no skimming on the vodka. Though it was a bit pricey we planned on spending when we went due to the occasion, but they definitely have some options on their menu that are on the lower price end such as their sandwiches which I'm excited to try another day. We will definitely be going back!

AMAZING. You must order the escargot!! The best I’ve ever had. Mussels & Fries, I’ve ordered 3 times. The Pâté is mandatory. I love the texture. On my first visit, I ordered the Duck Confit. Perfection. The lamb is another MUST DO, says my date. It’s worth a long drive, and it’s worth the wait. Busy place.

This is my favorite French restaurant in CT. I travel about an hour and 15 minutes just to eat here and it's worth it! It's romantic and has really amazing food. It is on the pricey side but nice for special occasions or a date night. The restaurant does not take reservations unless it's for groups of 4+ so that is frustrating. I've gone and waited for 45 minutes for a table before and it's worth it. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are super busy during dinner hours and weekends. They give you free olives and bread with butter. I recommend the croque madame (my favorite), duck confit, rack of lamb, potato gratin, Creme Brulee, and their hot chocolate! I'm giving them 5 stars because their food is just that good. Give it a shot!

Recently called and asked to make a reso for a party of 3, asking for an exception on policy because I no longer live in CT, I’d be traveling 5hrs up and my two guest were traveling and hr each I asked to speak to the owner politely and he did call me back and said no 1 star review because why not accommodate an occasional special request, I’ve been recommending this place for 14 yrs to anyone I know I get the place fills up every day but it’s not in the spirit of what I remember this place to be

we got the tuna tartar and it looked like cat food but it was amazing. entrees were great a lil small on the steak portions but still good. i got the apple turn over and it was doughy and horrible with whip cream that tasted like sour cream. very cute ambiance, very crowded and cozy like france.
