“biryani is not awesome but it won’t disappoint you for sure”
been looking for best biryani in town past few days, tried so-called best biryani in town rest and personally I did not like that much, not contradicting other reviewers. Everyone has their own taste buds. I had been here in the month of May. and tried their mutton biryani. it was good. meat pieces were cooked perfectly like they should have.
the ambiance was good. I guess it was running by 3-4 Telugu guys like other Andhra restaurant. they were doing a good job. I will try their ala carte and buffet someday.

After few days, I tried their buffet too on Friday. their biryani was amazing in the buffet which is highly unlikely as never found good biryani in the buffet, bt that's it. except for biryani, none of the items was good in taste. and guess what, after few mins, they were out of the plate and then plastic plates were there. lol.bt yes, will go for biryani again
Food served here is halal and fresh. The signature dishes are Biriyani's and Kebabs, they are very tasty; you also want to try there Bolani Parata. Service is being improved. Highly recommended for authentic indian food, must visit.

I had visited this place for memorial day lunch..the buffet was good..very good..they had mutton,chicken as well as veg biriyani along with many chicken and veg dishes..appetizer had veg pakora and then chicken tandoori.for dessert they had gulab jamun only..fresh naan were being served at the table..tasty food..
If anyone comes from kolkata India..you will b in love with their biriyani ..it just d way it is made in kolkata..
One of the best indian restaurant in Richmond. Every thing that I had was awesome. I think they have the best Chicken tika masala in town. The fresh naan comes with the buffet, and is very good, as is the service. we will come back soon.

I like the food and service.......been twice in a week and crave for more Hyderabadi khaana !. Whatever was the experience of my fellow reviewers here.....I will say their paaya made me go back the very next day to have more! Haleem was of right consistence unlike the Pakistani versions we get here in richmond. No offense to anyone. but nooranikabobhouse is no comparison for food we get in bawarchi.......their flavors are overpowering with oil...I am not the owner friend of the either but felt disappointed cause I really like the place service and food at bawarchi and would recommend to giv it a try.
We came past 9PM and they are closing by 10PM. We were still welcomed and entertained. Great staff and owner. Delicious biryani! Thank you!
This place is amazing! I order food from here all the time and love going here for the lunch buffet. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is super friendly! Highly recommend!!

Staff was extremely polite. It was me and my girlfriend's 1st experience with Indian cuisine and the staff welcomed us with open arms and plenty of suggestions. We both were pleased with the food as well as the vibe of the establishment. We will definitely be going back to try the buffet so that we can experience more of the food.
The Diwali Special Lunch buffet 2019 was really great! Non veg and Veg Food variety was really good! Price was really reasonable for the all the items provided in the buffet! We were very satisfied ! Will definitely come again ... Great place for family .
Always an excellent experience. Food is always fresh, tastes like home cooking and plenty to choose from. There is also a wide range of vegetarian dishes. My family loves eating here. It takes serious and meticulous effort to cook their dishes and they do an amazing job! We'll always come back to Bawarchi!
This is our go to Indian restaurant! So, so good and all of the staff are incredibly kind! The manager of the restaurant periodically comes out to ask each guest how everything is. The prices are more than reasonable and the serving size is perfect for family style meals. You will not be disappointed!
UPDATE: I have had the chance to try some of Richmonds other Indian Cuisine restaurants and I have to say that this one tops them all!
Bawarchi is my to go Indian restaurant and it is one of the best Indian restaurants in town. I come here very often for dine in or take out & never had any complaints or bad experience. I visited Bawarchi this week and was so amazed by the service and was splendid. The best Indian food served in Richmond. I loved their Butter chicken & Garlic naan and was flavorful and appetizing. My colleague loved the Garlic naan bread with Butter chicken and was impressed. The service was great and the staff was super kind and sweet. They come out at your table occasionally to check everything is good. I would definitely come here again with all my other friends. I would recommend this place to friends and family.👌👌👌👌
welcome to flavor! I used to live in India so I consider myself pretty well versed on Indian food. I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I had a hard time picking what I liked best. the chicken kebab and biryani were delicious. the cook is from Hyderabad, so no wonder it's great! Lunch buffet on a week day is $12.99.
I've eaten at just about every Indian restaurant in Richmond, and I keep coming back to Bawarchi. Best Indian food in town. We just had a late lunch there, buffet, so you know the food has been sitting for a while, and it was still delicious! The tandoori chicken is to die for! Not sure how Google has them with only 3.5 stars... they're much much better than that.
