I’ve always enjoyed Shoney’s buffet breakfast, ever since I was a kid. You guys rock! I will be there again and Again and again!!
Love this Shoneys we go here a lot. The staff is very nice. We love Susan, but everyone is very nice
Only come for the breakfast buffet, it's the best, though we only know of shoneys having breakfast buffets. Wednesday night and everyday morning breakfast buffets is where it's at, give it a shot
With all the Shoney's restaurants closing everywhere and the food in some not up to standard, this was a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and immediately attentive. They also were there just when they needed to be. Like your iced tea is low, the tall gentleman who attended our table was there asking if we wanted more. Food was well stocked, hot, fresh and delicious! I had read some negative reviews somewhere but I'm glad we took a chance. Nothing like that whatsoever. Wish I could have eaten more but I ate all I could and everything was delicious. Shoney's is my husband's favorite and the last time we went to one (not this one) food was unimpressive and we got disappointed. I suggested we give this one a try and this Shoney's redeemed the chain for us. He ate everything on his plate, went back for seconds and thirds and topped it off witha big bowl of jello with fruit (not wet and mushy, sweet, just right and delicious), and whipped cream. I picked at some. It was so good. I wanted my own bowl but couldn't fit it. So glad we stoped. Best breakfast ever! Thank you Richmond Shoney's.
Old school Shoneys. Haven't been to one in many years and not much has changed. The buffet was well kept and the food was hot. Managed to get there as they were switching from breakfast/brunch to seafood for dinner. My son loved it. I had no complaints.
I've had the Senior buffet on Tue for years. Food was good and they kept it coming. The price was just a little higher than a fast food place
With all of the closures, I was so glad to find a Shoney's open in Virginia. The food and service meet and exceeded my expectations. I wish I didn't have to travel so far to get her, but it was worth the trip.
We have a small group that visits Shoney's on Hull St. every Wednesday. Today our server was Phyllis and she was fast, friendly, and accurate with our orders. She recommended the chef on duty, Leroy's omelette. I ordered it and it was amazing! I have never had an omelette like Leroy's and it is now the standard by which I judge all others! I highly recommend Leroy's omelette. My friends all raved about their food cooked by Leroy as well! Thank you, Shoney's!
Update: Nannie has been serving our group for years and takes wonderful care of us! Leroy still serves up the best omelettes in town or anywhere!
Not many Stoney’s left, but they are still serving the best food! Buffets twice a day with wonderful home cooked dishes. Still can’t beat their coffee and hot fudge cake!
I always go to the breakfast buffet when I travel down south.
The food is delicious and they have a good variety of dishes to choose from.

Sunday Brunch is a reasonable price consider its all-you-can-eat. Pay before 2pm for Brunch price. Bathroom was not great. Atmosphere it like stepping back in time. Ok overall. Breakfast foods were good.
I live in North Carolina. I drove 2 hour to get here cause it’s one of the last Shoeneys on the east coast apparently! I’ve always liked breakfast buffet at Shoeneys. Just pissed cause they closed all the other restaurants down. This is the last of the great breakfast buffet restaurants. Visit while you can!!!!!
If friendly staff and comfort food is what you are seeking then come here! Staff did a great job cleaning and sanitizing between customers. Always a special on the salad bar. Great place to bring kids as well!
