Moved back to Virginia recently so hadn't had Captain D's in probably close to 20 years. It's as good as I remember and the fish was hot and fresh and the employees were friendly. My 7 year old said it's the best fish he's ever had.

The Country style Whitefish dinner with double okra for the 2 sides + 2 hushpuppies. If you have digestive issues, skip the okra and take some Lactaid because most of the breading has milk - per their website! SENIOR $ MEALS Wednesday and Sunday.

Enjoyed our meal here. Knew to expect Long John Silver’s style food before getting here. Granted I would say this is much better than LJS as it isn’t served in a puddle of it’s own grease. Got the 2 piece fish meal with mac n cheese and corn on the cob. The corn was not very tasty but both the mac and fish was great. Restaurant was quite clean and the food came out quickly. Staff was friendly enough. We’re not trying to become best friends here. I knew what to expect coming in. This is fast casual dining, not gourmet. Not sure what people were expecting.

The ladies working at this place are great. They aren't fast like other fast food chains, but my order is always right and my food is hot. The place is always clean.

I think we've only had one time in 6 years where the food was not good. And we come 2-3 times per month, sometimes more depending on where we are in town that day. Staff is friendly (and so funny). Just love it here.

I have been eating aat Captain D's since the chain began. Always enjoy the food choices. By far, this location exceeds my expectation. Friendly, curteous staff; clean, well maintained dining room; and excellent food.

We enjoyed our country style fried fish dinners. They were so big, we had the leftovers for dinner that night. They have the best baked potatoes!
The ladies at the counter were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful when we asked for more tartar sauce.
The atmosphere was SUPER!! They were playing the best Motown songs. We were enjoying ourselves so much, we hated to leave. We look forward to going back!
