By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the entire city of Richmond.
Been coming here for years. However the buffet rocks. All sorts of good stuff such as: white rice, fried rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, general taos chicken, steamed veggies, won ton soup, egg drop soup, fried chicken wings, steamed wonton, egg rolls and the list goes on!
Buffet is every day during lunch but only Friday Saturday Sunday dinner I think but well worth the visit.
Just tried this place and it was actually pretty good! They had a good selection of chinese food from which i ordered General Tso's Tofu. It was delicious and came with broccoli and they also bring out wonton noodles for you to snack on while you wait for your food to be served.
My wife and I came here for an early dinner. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, 2 shrimp spring rolls, and combination lo mein. Everything was fresh and very good. The atmosphere here was good. They only so their buffet for lunch on Thursday and Friday, but we were not disappointed at all. The staff was attentive and friendly. I recommend coming here for delicious food any time.
I have to say the staff did an excellent job. I had a large party of 50 people, and we enjoyed the buffet. For the amount of people they did awesome. The food was very good. Prompt with the drink refills. My first time there and left happy.
Came here for lunch (dined in). Ordered the Kung Pao chicken which came with fried rice and also an option for soup or egg roll. In this case I had the wonton soup. The Kung pao chicken was tasty and the wonton soup was also delicious. On Thursdays and Fridays they have lunch buffet for like $14. Otherwise the regular lunch special is about $11-12 per person
I've only gotten take out from here. It's convenient and the food is very good. In fact my opinion of the place has improved across time. Try the shrimp fried rice, hot and sour soup and steamed dumplings.
One of the best Chinese food places in the area. Food was so fresh, hot and delicious! Ate it too fast to take pictures of it. Although pictures wouldn't have done it justice.

Excellent Chinese food. Higher quality than most of their competitors in Richmond. Good takeout, delivery, and dine-in service.
Good food. Good service. Clean restaurant. Looks kind of old on the outside but inside is refreshing and clean. Lunch buffet on Friday and Saturday from 11 to 3.
Just got my latest delivery from Hunan East and really want to sing their praises. Have been dining in or ordering take out for 20 years. It is ALWAYS delicious and so comforting! If you feel like you are coming down with something, the wonton soup will fix you right up! Servings are generous and fresh. The staff is always lovely and service is fantastic. The gentleman who delivers is a joy to see coming up the walk, always smiling😊
Hunan is consistently the BEST for flavor and variety. Service is soft and attentive - table conversations are never interrupted!!!
