Delicious, clean and friendly. I got chicken chimichangas with verde sauce!
Decent Mexican cuisine. Took a team of twelve out for lunch and they had no problems accommodating the large group. The meals were all good, and came out at the same time. Really impressed with the service more than anything.
We had a big group of 11. Great place for a larger gathering! They took good care of us! Good service and delicious food!
We used to come here years ago, then moved away. Now Casa Grande is a "must visit" spot every time we come to Richmond!
I had steak fajitas and my wife had chimichangas for lunch. It all tasted terrific and was hot. Initially, service was slow but improved after ordering, and it was not very busy. Their prices are average to good for this type of food. However, I was shocked to find that the Texas Margarita was $20. Great atmosphere as well.
I’ve been going here for like ten years and it’s very good and comforting. the staff is friendly and the food normally comes out pretty fast. the chips and salsa are great and almost everything i’ve had there is really good. it’s great for the price (like $7/ person for lunch) and they give you a ton of food. it will definitely give you a stomach ache but it’s worth it haha
This isn't your gourmet Mexican, nor is it the hot new place in town, but it does a great job of delivering good food at very reasonable prices. There are a lot of booths for comfortable and quiet conversations. A number of specials and they participate in a number of discount programs so prices are very, affordable. It is both date and family friendly and the servers are generally very friendly and attentive. For those of you who are "almost" adventurous, try the Chicken Mole (with a mild chocolate sauce) which is excellent. This restaurant has been around for a while, for good reason.
The good: Great prices. Great selection. It isn't the absolute best Mexican food, but darn close to it and for the price, who cares?
The bad: Not much. We've had a few service issues here and there (been going for years). A few small issues with orders and their wait staff could be a little friendlier. But if you're in ShortPump and want solid Mexican food that won't break the bank, you'll be hard pressed to find better.
This is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is tasty, and the service is solid. The atmosphere is fun and unique, and they have a full bar, too. What sets this place apart from other similar restaurants is its community vibe. It's common to find families having a great time with friends or teammates.
The food is ALWAYS great here. Service is usually prompt and friendly! I have enjoyed eating at this restaurant for over 12 years. My wife and I had our first date here, and we keep coming back for more.
This is a GREAT Mexican place!
The place itself is conveniently located between Broad & Three Chopt, on Pump Rd. There is plenty of room to social distance & enjoy your meal!
The tortilla chips are warm, and taste like they came out of clean oil (there are a couple places around the area about which this cannot be said). The cheese dip is great!
The tea is served in a large glass, and tastes fresh.
My wife had the soft Tacos de Carnes asada, which she loved! I had a tostada and a fried burrito, and both were phenomenal! Next time I will add cheese to the tostada, but they use a chili in their ground beef that has an amazing flavor!
Great experience and we will be back!!! My wife said “...with a vengeance!” 😂
