Commercial is fantastic! Everything about our experience was top-notch! Kamillah, Maddie, Trent, Edward and Joe (owner) are some of the nicest, most engaging bartenders we’ve ever met. They play awesome music, keep your drinks flowing and gave us great recommendations on things to do in Richmond during our stay. The food…oh, the food! It is delicious! Maria hand makes everything in the kitchen beside the bar. We had a quesadilla, tamales & empanadas with rice & charra beans - hands down, the BEST empanadas I’ve ever had. I’m not a big fan of slaw but Maria’s made me change my mind. I could’ve eaten a plate full. There’s a cool area upstairs that houses a full-size pool table and dart board. Overall, a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. Such a neat find with an awesome vibe! We’re making it a regular hangout spot when we visit moving forward!

This is not a big place and you don't want it to be. Hands down, the nicest, most attentive staff in Richmond! Always something I want on draft and their wine selection is better than average. No idea about their cocktails but they got em. Lastly- the food is really good! "Traditional Mexican with American pub" I think the website says something like that and I'd say that's spot on.

Unbelievably great service, atmosphere, and food. Owner-operated by 2 great guys giving it their all. Very professional class service by owner and staff. A real family affair. Reconnected with a long lost friend there for our best 1 on 1 chat in a LONG while. And the beer and asada torta sandwich was amazing and can’t wait to try other Mexican food and check out the upstairs

One of my favorite spots in Richmond. I used to venture over there by myself since my girlfriend lived on Davis so it was a quick walk through the alley, which is where my love for the place began. Now we moved a little further away but we still try our best to go there at least once a month. The owners and staff are great people, along with the food. The diablo sauced wings are muy caliente if you're into spicy foods! It's especially great when it's not as crowded and they pass the ipad around and you're able queue songs on spotify for the venue, Plus they are Wu-Tang fans, and Wu-Tang is for the children.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! The queso is so freaking good and Maria's tamales are absolutely delicious and authentic! The al pastor tacos are to die for and the rice and beans are game changers. I love the room upstairs with the pool table too. I think you can reserve it, which is nice for bigger parties. Definitely try all the food here you can! I'm pretty sure it's all made in house! Everything I've had is exceptionally tasty.

This place is great for little parties! You can reserve the upstairs room for a low price and it comes with a pool table and dart board. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They take your orders and drinks upstairs, so you don’t have to keep going up and down the stairs to get drinks. It’s a great little spot! Good selection of food and drinks. Will definitely reserve this place for little parties or get togethers in the future!

Just hopped in for a quick drink after happy hour, really like the vibes of this joint! It honestly reminds me of the bars in Japan: narrow, cozy, fun lighting/decor, friendly environment, and straightforward options. Will update the review when I try out the food, but they have a great beer selection, check it out if you want something low key! UPDATE: Food is delicious, try the nachos - happy hour is also great with $4.50 Select Craft Beers and $14.50 Pitchers, $6 Select Appetizers 👌
