Man.. I have always loved Italians for there passion and fire and love of good food and the beautiful women.. this place has alI this and more.. came on memorial day weekend to see a place full of smiles and family's and music and laughter.. the owner show be proud of his dream and all those that helped him to achieve it.. love this place
Capriccios is the best pizza in town! Every time my father visits Richmond, he and I just have to share a Capriccios pie!! ���
Place is beautiful.. and authentic which I love.. customer service perfect..food for lunch I'm not.impressed at all I may come back for dinner then can better assess the food to do a review it was a nice lunch crowd.. I had the chicken Parmesan which is my fav sandwich but it was dry and looked and tastes warmed over with cheese ..needed more sauce and flavor for sure.. fries wishes they were fresh cut but are frozen bag fries.. fresh cut are 100%better you can get frozen ones anyplace .. may go back may seek another authentic Italian spot for lunch.. we shall see stay tuned..
We ordered pizza for takeaway and was excellent!! We mowed through half of it before I thought take a photo but it was Greek Goddess with pepperoni and sausage on half. Crust makes a pizza and this crust was fantastic. Love the variety of toppings on the the pizza and def one of the best pizzas we've had in a while. Will definitely be going in soon to eat at the restaurant.
So glad to have stumbled upon this gem! The atmosphere is very nice, the mural on the wall and other decor make it so bright and cheery. We ordered onion rings, garlic knots, a personal cheese pizza and a personal veggie pizza. The onions rings were really good, a whole breaded ring that doesn't slide out when you bite it! The garlic knots have fresh garlic them- truly some of the best garlic knots I've ever had. We loved both pizzas too! Sometimes you just crave a really good cheese pizza and this absolutely delivered. Topped it off with tiramisu for desert! The flavors were so nicely balanced and the texture was perfect- not too mushy! Our server was amazing, too. She really added to the whole experience. Can't wait to visit again!
Delicious! This was our first visit to Capriccios. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large greek goddess pizza. I placed the order by calling the restaurant for pick up. The person who answered the phone was polite and got the order correct. It only took 20 minutes despite a busy Friday night. The pizza was hot and loaded with toppings. My only reason for a 4 out of 5 for service is no one greeted me at the door and I had no idea where to go to pick up my food. Maybe there was a sign somewhere that I missed. It was a bit pricey ($46 for two pizzas), but that's the way of the world right now.
Anyway, we will be back!
When ordering through Uber eats it's kind of different but overall a decent experience. Daughter enjoyed the food because I owed her dinner. Thanks
This is everything you want from your neighborhood Italian pizzaria/restaurant - friendly staff that treats you like family, huge portions for not a lot of money, and comfort on a plate/in a bowl. My "picky eater" kids love the pasta with meat sauce, and my "small" cheese calzone was overstuffed and enough for 2 meals (so I ended up being glad I didn't get a side salad with it).
The strawberry cheesecake is a huge slice, but not sweet the way we like it. The limoncello cake, however, is amazing with the raspberry drizzle.
My first experience with Capriccios was picking up DoorDash delivery orders, and I knew I had to try it after being able to watch the staff in action with the to-go orders, delivery drivers, the eat-in customers, and each other; it was a place I didn't mind lingering in and I couldn't wait to try the food for myself.
Capriccios is one of our family favorite Italian restaurants. The place is not fancy, but the food is always consistent. Friendly service, they make you feel like home. I was told by some friends from NJ that they have the best Jersey style pizza. The extra large pizza was almost the size of a square table. A extra large slice was too big for the plate.
The food was good and hot!!! I will be returning. Staff were friendly and professional. Great pick up service. I had chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a side salad….great portion size too.
The pizza, garlic bread and white clam pasta were fabulous. With the best delivery service! If you've not tried Capriccio's give them a try. And make sure to order directly for delivery. Support local & small businesses!
I’m a steak and cheese connoisseur as they’re also my go to at Italian spots! And let me just say Capriccios sub was a 10/10.
I don’t know how I forgot to add lettuce and tomato and remove the mushrooms but it was soo good I didn’t care. In fact, it was so delicious I forgot to take picture to share with y’all. The meat and cheese were perfect. Plus the fries were good too, I love fries that are battered! So happy to have found a new spot on this side of town.
Can’t wait to come back and try more though! The pizza, apps and wraps sound great too.
Update: came back and got another steak and cheese how I like it with lettuce and tomato. The cheese they use is perfect!
