Just got lunch delivered for my office from here. It was my first time trying Jason's deli. I got a half roast beef and roasted turkey sandwich and a cup of southwest chicken chili. It was outfrieakingstanding! I will definitely return soon. Their menu has more choices than any deli I have ever seen!
I'm a northern girl. So,I appreciate a good Cornbeef or pastrami. Since I've been in the south. This is the closest to what I grew up on.
Lots of options. Something for everyone. Staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. Would go back again to try a different menu item. P.S. the strawberry shortcake 🍰 was great! And who doesn't love free soft serve ice cream 🍦?
1st time here. My son took me for late lunch. He had chicken Alfredo while I had 1/2 a Ruben and the salad bar. Food was fast an very good. Will go again in future.
Vegetarian wife had their salad bar what she really enjoyed.
I had the manager special ham sandwich in a soup, I chose the Reuben and the seafood gumbo. Both were really good. I would get them again. The Reuben was loaded with half pound of corned beef. Had a side of potato salad for an upcharge, I would not get it again. It was decent but not the best.
I love Jason's Deli, I really, really wish they would open in (North) Suffolk Virginia. I had the California Club w/o the guacamole and a strawberry shortcake. As usual, the food was great; fresh meat and veggies on the sandwich and the cake didn't taste like a ton of sugar. The staff is always friendly. Again, we need one in (North) Suffolk, Virginia!
I have gone to this restaurant twice within 10 days. I found the salad bar to be exceptional. You receive a plate that has an indentation in it as if it's a bowl also and can put so much on that one plate if there's no need for anymore. They had an abundance of a selection. It was a bit warmer in the restaurant that I like that is the only reason I have a four-star for the atmosphere.
I went into Jason's Deli thinking it was just another deli. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This was my daughter's suggestion for lunch and she chose well! They have a large salad bar with the freshest of ingredients and even had bolied eggs so I could get some protein on our salads. And just when I thought we were done, she tells me about their soft serve ice cream machine. The chocolate AND vanilla were some of the best we've had! This Jason's is top on my list for when I'm in the Willow Lawn area of Richmond, Va. Just wish we had one on the southside of Richmond!
Dope place to go to. You order what you want, sit down and they bring it to you. Service was good and everyone seemed in high spirits. Me and my g pops got chicken salad sandwiches, tasted like my grandma was in the back.
Always my spot for a GREAT salad! Hubby really enjoyed the lobster chowder. Said it was very substantial and filling.
