Just ate there for the first time. The service was great. The gentleman who waited on us was new and couldn’t have been any nicer. Our food was served fresh, hot, and delicious. It was worth the walk from Sheppard St.

The food and service are great here. It is a small hit really. Kind of grimey, like what is called a whole in the wall. The flavor on your food that comes out of that little kitchen though is great! The name is what the place is about, the burgers, which are good!!

One of my favorite places to grab a beer and a bite to eat when in Carytown. The burgers are great, but the fries with pimento cheese and their house sauce is usually what I go with. Would definitely recommend.
Tasty burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. Two floors of seating options. Fast service. Check includes 15% gratuity automatically, and we had a ~20% "large group" fee. Definitely a classic must-do. Great music playlist.
They deserve way more than 5 stars! Amazing variety of burgers, famous fries, and staff! Great bartender who came with the building when it used to be nachos mama many years ago. ;) Handicap ramp and lower bathroom acessibility and outdoor dog friendly place. Super cute date night joint with extra seating and restrooms upstairs. Clean, classy, friendly, and delicious place.
Man do I love this place! The staff is absolutely incredible and every bite of food I’ve ever had there has been perfectly prepared. Three words…pimento/cheese/fries. Do yourself a favor and get some.
Great vibes and great burger options including vegan. Also any burger can be substituted with fries or grilled chicken. I had the Not Your Mama’s and sweet and salty fries with fried pickles. Lots of food so it’s great for sharing. Parking was pretty easy too but we went on a Monday. I will definitely return. They also have a great bar and free arcade throwbacks.
As a resident of central Virginia for many, many years, I am happy to say that Carytown Burgers and Fries has been a staple of my wife and kids for years. The burgers are big and juicy and the fries are always hot and fresh. The staff has always taken care of us in a friendly and quick manner. We make it a point to go there about once a month. Thank you for all the good food and hard work!
Food was amazing, generous portions for the price. Flavor out of this world! Friendly service, with one dude expertly holding down the fort solo! 10/10 def recommend; will be back!
