We popped in while doing a little bit of Holiday shopping in the Carytown area.
Just had a couple of drinks and the French Onion Soup. I forgot to take a before photo but it was wonderful!
Great place in a beautiful building.
Pretty damn good, and my expectations weren't high. Think I got the chicken crepe with lemongrass sauce, and it was really really good. Not heavy at all which I was happy about. Everyone who goes there should get the tiramisu crepe for dessert, even if it's shared for the table. Best thing ever.
Katheryn was our waitress, she was great! My boyfriend and I needed to move tables and she was amazing at accommodating us then checking on us in our new section. This was our second time here, the crepes are great! My boyfriend had the ham & cheese crepe, the portion was really large. We split the strawberry French toast, the bread is thick and helps soak up all the chocolate! I had the crab and lobster crepe (pictured below with the French toast) and you can’t go wrong with it ever. It’s full of seafood!
Our second visit to the Richmond area and our second visit to Les Crêpes! We were a fairly large party - Cesar handled it with ease and our crêpes were divine! They had a jazz band playing, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
We had an incredible time at Les Crepes for my wife’s birthday. Katherine, our server, was kind, attentive, and quick. Been here multiple times actually and it’s always been a wonderful experience. Food is always spectacular. Definitely recommend!
The ravioli was the best. The star of the whole meal. Though it wasnt super hot. The set up at the place was really nice tho they only have 1 bathroom. I wish they had a sides like bacon or sausage. They did have sides of eggs but the bacon was chopped up. Overalll the food was amazing and the setting was nice.
Fun Creperie in Richmond. When you get to the building you have to walk up the stairs and the door opens up to a main floor. The hallway you face looks like a little town. The hostess will greet you and ask what your seating prefer. They have the option of outdoor seating, there is also an upstairs floor.
They have a lot of options for crepes, including nin crepe items. There are cocktails and hot drinks. I also noticed a kids menu, vegetarian and gluten free options. This trip is my first here and I ordered two crepes a savory and sweet. The savory one was the Carbonara crepe. This crepe looked fancy and tasted rich. The crepes are packed full. Personally I found it a bit too rich or salty, not sure if it was the pesto adding to an already cheesy chicken bacon filled crepe. The sweet crepe I ordered was the Tirimisu. The tirimisu crepe was decadent and delicious and very filling.
Overall it was a great experience. I did find their hours a little later (most Creperies I have come across are open in the morning). At the time of this review they opened at 11 am on Saturday.
The atmosphere feels like a nice, high-end laid back mood. The waitress was nice. I ordered the Cocorico; it was different and good. A little too sweet for my preference. However, the coffee was a nice balance to go with the dish. I'd like to come back again and try other savory dishes.
Hey fellow foodies! I've got some delightful scoop for you all! Last night, I paid a visit to "Les Crepes," and boy, was it a memorable experience!
Let's talk about the wait staff first. They were on top of their game, folks! Super attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. They even had some great recommendations for both sweet and savory crepes, making the decision-making process a breeze.
Now, let's get to the main event - the crepes! Oh, my taste buds were singing with joy! The sweet crepes were heavenly, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Each bite was pure bliss!
But here's the icing on the crepe cake - they host live jazz music on Saturday nights! Imagine indulging in those delectable crepes while grooving to some soulful tunes. I'm already planning to return one Saturday for a dose of jazz and, of course, more of those mouthwatering crepes.
So, if you're up for a delightful gastronomic journey with attentive service, fresh and delicious crepes (sweet or savory), and a side of enchanting jazz music. Bon appétit, my fellow food enthusiasts!
Sunday morning with watermelon mimosas, lattes and crepes with fresh fruit. Our server, Liberty, was delightful and sitting in the garden before it got warm was perfect! Our whole group had an amazing experience!
