Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

Good food, awesome service. While on a soccer tournament my son and I stopped at this place for dinner based on reviews and we were not disappointed. The service, as other people have mentioned, was really good, waiters were attentive all the time and food was served quick and fresh. We got the Carne Asada and the Texas Fajitas. The portions were big and tasty but I would cut down a bit the oil on the fajitas. Carne Asada flavor was pretty good but not the best I have had. My only negative is on the price of the Margaritas, while the Spicy Margarita was flavorful it was almost at the same price as one of the entrees. Overall a good experience.

I ate here on 10/28/23 visiting from out of town and I have to say the food was awesome.... I have a few things that I can say about this place... The food is awesome, the service was outstanding, and the reaturaunt was clean. I asked my waiter Kevin what he recommended, and he quickly said the Gypsy quesadilla. Without questioning his pick, I told him that's what I wanted. Needless to say, I was really impressed and can say hands down that was the best quesadilla that I've ever had north of the border. Kevin your awesome for that! Don't be afraid to try this place, it's a little hole in a wall tucked away in a little shopping center, but when I head back to Richmond, I plan on visiting again.

Among Mexican restaurants Pepe’s stands above the competition. Everything here is familiar, chips with salsa, standard Tex-mex fare, some local specials. By that measure they are like everyone else. What sets them apart is the quality of the food and the excellent service. The chips are always fresh, and the specials are excellent, especially The Chesterfield and Burrito Del Mar. This is comfort food served in a comfortable setting, but don’t come here looking for much in way of ambiance. Come for the food and leave happy.

Love Pepe‘s! One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Service is top notch, food is always piping hot and delicious 😋 and the Salsa is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is great, too! We just got back from one of the „new“ Mexican restaurants in the area and it was a disaster on all levels (no plans to ever go back). Never left a review for Pepe’s but after this experience, I said to myself, give credit where credit is due. Keep up the great work, Pepe‘s!
