Cute local ice cream shop. Great music, awesome ice cream, and they have some dairy free options as well! Gets busy here on summer nights. There is a section for seating located next to the store and some life size connect four and other toys to have kids to play with as they weight for their ice cream. I can see this place is loved by families, locals, and tourists, such as myself.
The BEST ice cream shop ever. The ice cream are super fresh and filled with flavor. The 3 ice cream on the pictures are NY Strawberry Cheesecake, Carolina Toffee, Carolina Crunch. The staff is super friendly and always keep a big smile. A must visit place in North Carolina when it comes to snacks or ice cream. Thank you for the wonderful service and experience. And of course the delicious ice cream 🍦 😋.
Very patient staff as I had a child ordering. The items ordered were very tasty. You are even able to mix flavors with the small cup. This is a walk-up location. Parking is not hard to find.

Stopped at the Glenwood location earlier today! They have the best flavors including the delicious banana pudding and the sweet honey ice cream! I had a sundae that was to die for! It's right off Glenwood with plenty of parking and some seating too! Love this place and the service... will defs go back and highly recommend!
This was my family and I first time here. It's a cute little walk-up window ice cream shop. I decided to come because it advertised as using local cows from the ice cream WITHOUT hormones 🥰. It was really good. You get a lot for your money, and the ice cream doesn't make you or your stomach feel heavy.
The best ice cream in Raleigh. Love their flavors. If you get a chance to have try the cookie monster ( that is a monthly flavor)

Fresh Local Ice Cream never disappoints. I’ve been three times and it’s always great. There is usually a line but I think that’s a good sign. My favorite flavor so far is the blueberry ice cream. The atmosphere is also really nice with outdoor seating with umbrellas. We will be back!
I can't believe this was my first time here! This is place is always packed when I drive by, especially on evenings & weekends. After trying their ice cream, I can see why!
They advertise: Free Range Cows, Free of Artificial Hormones, Free of Antibiotics and Free of Pesticides.
And I can attest by the quality of the taste of their ice cream that FRESH does deliver on their promises.
I would recommend this place for a casual first-time date, as well as somewhere to bring the kids.
They even have sundaes for pets!
You must get the banana pudding ice cream! It’s so good! I’ve been coming here for years and the quality is always on point. They have a cute outdoor sitting area with lights and games too.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon - not packed but people were gradually flowing in.
I ordered a single scoop of coffee flavored ice-cream on a waffle cone. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Outside seating was available, so this was a perfect time to sit and enjoy!
