We stopped at this Cafe after our hike. Awesome place and love the cauliflower soups and bread/butter to die for. Highly recommend this place to all. Cute little town .
We love the Station House, has been a destination for our family and friends for years. The food is delicious! Fresh, local and with changing menu. Music every Sunday and great libations. We have had so many wonderful meals- in the garden in the summer and celebrated great events in the private room! It's a gem!
Great food, beautiful ambiance, and good service. The cocktails were delicious as well. We Initially went on a Saturday night in the off season, and it was still super busy. Reservations are a good idea on Fridays or Saturdays. I had the skirt steak, which was superb. My husband had the roast chicken, which was juicy and flavorful.
The restaurant has just undergone a major renovation and everything was truly fabulous. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant and bar. The service was very good and the food fabulous! Hubby and I started with an appetizer of fried oysters with a cornmeal crust and were not disappointed. We then shared the fresh steelhead salmon and the pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly. There is a full bar and nice wine and beer selection as well. We plan on going back while we are here.

Clam chowder does not cater to my taste. Somehow watery and almost no clams.
The price was high based on the portion.

We were visiting point Reyes and this was one place which was open until 9pm and we stumbled here and I’m so glad we did. The food here is so amazing that I specially had to go again for the food. Pick anything from the menu and you will love it. We tried oysters, half raw half grilled, linguini and clams, steamed mussels in coconut gravy, garlic bread and halibut! All of these were simply delish! Would love to visit again
So excited this spot re-opened across the street! Great food and ambiance, as usual. Decor of the new space is great; nice noise-dampening felt panels that fit into the vibe well. Not pictured was the hangtown fry, which had both bacon and fried oysters. The drink selection is also great, from standard sodas (hi Diet Coke) to a great wine selection to house-made non alcoholic elixirs with fresh herbs.
I really enjoyed the fried oysters here. We also had popovers, the beet salad and the linguini, which were light and delicious. My only issue was that they kinda skimped on the fish in the Rock Cod Sandwich, but it tasted great as well.
The staff seemed a little overwhelmed on the day we came, but it was busy and they were learning a new Point of Sale system, so I'm not too beat up about that.
Overall, it was a nice experience in a beautiful little town.
We order the Oyster with half raw and half grilled. It is very fresh and delicious 😋. The hamburger 🍔 is also great and is one of the best burgers I had in the bay area!
What a charming place! Food was delicious and our server was stellar! This is my idea of a perfect brunch spot! Will have to come back for their dinner menu!
The oyster is good. Fries are extremely good! Burger’s patty is little bit under salt in my opinion but that’s okay.
But Spaghetti has some issues. The white wine taste is overwhelming in a bad way. It feels like the Spaghetti is cooked and ready to served, and then someone added a couple teaspoons of white wine at the end. The bitterness is too strong. We asked someone from the restaurant about it to confirm whether this is intentional and they told us it shouldn’t be the case. They said they’ll passed the message and we hope they did.
Looks like a diner on the outside, but the food tastes like a gourmet restaurant. Started with a half dozen Tomales Bay oysters. They have the option for raw or baked with garlic butter. I chose the latter, but I think raw was probably better. Had to try the pop-overs since they have a big photo of them as you enter. Pretty good with the tasty, natural butter they came with. Beet salad didn't look like it had beets at first, but they were on the bottom. The green goddess dressing and crumbled feta cheese made this a tasty treat. The we had mussels in coconut broth and the pork chop with buttery, garlic polenta and swiss chard. All of this was super delicious. Our food took quite a long time to arrive, but once it did, the taste made our cares melt away.
