A friend recommended this place for their shawarma, and which was absolutely phenomenal. I got the beef shawarma platter, which came with fantastic seasoned fries, 4 different kinds of pickled vegetables, and a delicious garlic sauce. Truly one of the best meals I have had in this city! Friendly staff, delicious food, and great prices. Definitely check them out when you are in South Oakland.
Great foods friendly staff!!! Open late, our flight was 3+ hours late and this was only a few place nearby that was open after midnight!!! Didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! Falafels were great, given to us while we waited for the food! Calzones were HUGE! Great tasting foods! We enjoyed the calzone and chicken Shawarmas!!!
Great Pizza. You have to try the Duo. Awesome.Nothing like it. Also try the shawarma. Best in town!!

Wonderful Shawarma Arabic plate, we tried both the chicken and meat with garlic cream and Hummus. The portions are really large and the quality is by far the best I’ve had in the US and I’ve been here for 35 years and travelled extensively. The setting is casual in college neighborhood in Oakland.

Reslly care for this pizza much (probablywouldve given 2 stars), but it was always at a family birthday party, so i did have the King Kong many, many times. This last time I enjoyed it so i thought I'd leave a positive review in case anyone else felt similar. They must've changed something because it's much better these days! Go try it! It's a good price for the size, as well. Go try it if you've never had it, or if you've had it before but didn't really like it... they've definitely stepped their game up!

The taste and quality of the shawerma is top notch. The chef knows what he is doing, all the sandwiches are authentic. Highly recommend. Only criticism is to speed up the service. Takes a bit too long to get a sandwich.
