Little gem tucked along Center Avenue. The tastiest Korean food we have had in Pittsburgh. Started with pancake and dumplings which were both good, but the place really shines in the stews and noodles. We had the kimchi tofu hot pot and seafood noodle, which were absolutely amazing. The owner is incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Cannot wait to go back to try more.

Having lived in Korea for a year, I can attest to the authenticity of the food at Nak Won. I can’t wait to go back. I had the pork belly, bibimbap, and pancakes. I stuffed myself silly. I didn’t realize how much I missed cucumber kimchi, kimchi, bulgogi, red pepper paste, etc. I was blow away by how amazingly real these meals are. I highly, highly recommend for an authentic South Korean experience. You will love it!

Being a native New Yawker and the constant disappointment from Korean restaurants in Philly my expectations weren't very high. But I was wrong... Very wrong! Although it's not a NY Korean restaurant, it could certainly be! I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the hae-mul pajun (seafood scallion pancake), dol sot bibim bap (hot stone rice), LA kalbi & the steamed egg. The hae-mul pajun was crispy like it's supposed to be. Dolsot bibim bap had the crispy rice on the bottom like it's supposed to and the veggies were flavorful and tasty like it's supposed to be. The LA galbi tasted like my mom or wife made it at home. The only suggestion I have is that the steamed egg has a little more water and salt added. The water keeps the egg from scorching and overcooking in the stone bowl. Everything was great! I have a feeling if my son comes to Pittsburgh for school, he'll be spending A LOT of (my) money on food here! 😂

Great authentic Korean cuisine, and friendly fast service! Typical college town seating, nothing fancy, but comfortable. A bit on the pricey side for lunch.

It was such a joy to see Nak Won Garden reopen its doors! The steamed pork belly and seafood pancake standing out as our personal favorites. The food is rich in flavor and is matched by the genuine hospitality of the staff. A true gem in the neighborhood and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine in Pittsburgh. Highly recommended!

What a gem to discover in Pittsburgh❣️❣️❣️ The service was very nice and the food was authentically spectacular 😋😋😋 I had Yaki Udon chicken and tofu, chili wings and beef bulgogi (not pictured but delicious). All the dishes came out hot and fresh...the tea is a authentic, house specialty blend with notes of toasted jasmine. You'll want to try everything once you've tried it the first time. Haven't had anything like this since leaving LA and dining in Koreatown. You'll love Nak Wan Garden, I did😋💞 YUM!!

Great Korean food at modest prices. Pittsburgh is a bit "thin" in terms of good/affordable Asian food, but NakWon fits the bill of good and reasonably priced. I've live in ATL, DFW, Toronto, and Vancouver (and S.Korea for about a year) so I know my Asian fare fairly well :).

Delicious authentic Korean food. My favorite is the bo ssam-roast pork belly with vegetables and the best salty/spicy side dishes. The bulgogi and other marinated meats come out on a hot cast iron skillet. Many different banchan, rice, and lettuce all come with it. Their sweet and spicy chicken wings are a great dish to start out with. Our favorite dish to order from here is the buddae jiggae or Army Base Stew. Although slightly expensive, it is worth every penny
