Visited the Pittsburg area and was told I had to try a ‘pie’ at Mineo’s. Found this location near my hotel and walked in and ordered off the menu. Wait time was around 15 minutes, not bad. The guy brought it out to me where I was waiting as soon as it was ready. As pizza goes, it was loaded, crust was tasty. All around a really good pizza that filled me up. Mineo’s lives up to the hype and expectation of good Pittsburg pizza. Give them a try and see what it’s about. Can’t say much for atmosphere, it was just a carry out location. It would be cool if the nearby bar/pubs would join together, it would make for a killer place to have a pint and pie. Just the same. Good stuff!
First time eating their pizza and all I can say is wow!! You want some good pizza go here! The takeout was actually rather fast especially on a Saturday night. Ordered the meaty pizza. I wasn’t sure about gyro on it but it was actually fantastic! I’m super picky when it comes to pizza but this place did great! Can’t wait to go back! Price is super good too!!
Update: MASSIVE SALADS!!! They are seriously delicious! Wow!
Their pizza is pretty good but this time I got a Gyro salad. Let's just say that they should stick to just making pizzas!!! It was awful... Over cooked cubed Gyro meat with mixed lettuce wee little grape tomatoes, onions and a few flimsy cucumbers. I asked to add pepperoncini and got sliced banana peppers instead (not the same) It has feta cheese and comes with cucumber dressing. I got extra feta and extra dressing!
This is pretty good pizza coming from a NY'er. Chicken tenders were perfect, moz sticks had a great flavor as well as the marinara. I'm assuming the fries were good. My son just about shoveled them down his throat lol. Out of towners, this place is worth the money.
Pizza is delicious was not fond of the Italian hoagie. Loaded with onions, tomatoes were mush had to remove them to eat ! over all not worth the money
I can honestly say for all the years that I had been buying pizza from Mineos I have never been disappointed!
Whether it's delivery which their Delivery staff are outstanding, or if it's pick up, which again the Staff there are just amazing.
The service never changes, meaning it is always outstanding! I've been fortunate enough to have pizza in places like Italy and the pizza that Mineos sells is just as good if not better!
No matter what location you go to for the pizza you will not be disappointed!
Friendly staff, good quality pizza... kids love it. When u pull the slices apart, the cheese stretches-it’s just so cheesy yum. That’s real cheese-when it does that. We be bock.
Definitely the most interesting pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve never had anything like it. At first I wasn’t sure about it because all of the toppings are under the cheese and the cheese is pretty thick which causes you to have to be careful that everything doesn’t slide off. However the more I ate it, the more I liked it. The cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were definitely very high quality and the taste was excellent. I also really liked the crust. Would definitely eat it again
Second time having Mineo's first was Mount Lebonon this place just as good just pizza shop to go or delivery no dining. Was in and out food still hot 15 min after driving to other side of town
Always great food, I order here regularly. Best wings in town!! Large wings and they are always cooked perfect. Love the buffalo chicken pizza and buffalo chicken calzone too. Always nice and pleasant to talk with too
